Comic Update - Moving Forward
Hello! Time for a little update on where I'm at, and what I have planned for the next few months.
I'll rip the band-aid off: Repopulation Program is on hold for the time being. Since starting the comic, I've seen a fairly significant drop in my metrics—both my reach, and my income, frankly. I'm not quite sure what to attribute that to, but it's difficult to justify working on a full size, full colored comic while making less money than I did before working on it, and still bleeding. I was basically working twice as much in order to keep the people who weren't interested in the comic happy, but at the moment, that doesn't seem to be worth the effort. I don't place blame on anyone, this kind of thing can be totally random. The economy, and all that. I intend on picking it back up come late January, if things are on the upswing. I'd be pretty disappointed to map out a whole comic I was very proud of and have to scrap it. For now, however, I'll be pivoting to more supporter-voted content.
Attached is a brief schedule for what I have planned. Pretty much all of it is finishing stuff I've already started, something many of you have been begging me for (trust me, I want to as well lol, I'm working on that. Thank you, medication.) First up is a couple substar related things. I've heard some whispers that their policy is a bit 'transient', so if push comes to shove, I'll just post it publicly instead. I'd still appreciate the support either way, however.
I'll be calling for requests as well soon, either through my discord or through a form/separate post you can comment on. You guys can have good ideas, so I wanna try doing those more than just following whatever whim I wake up with—as fun as that is.
December I will be the busiest, finishing up a comic started last year for the holidays. Thankfully, it's pretty far along already from chipping away at it throughout the year, so you can comfortably look forward to that! I'll be posting up sketches of pages sometime soon, and the full finished comic will all be posted at once on Christmas.
My deepest, most sincere apologies to those who are looking forward to the Repop. Program comic; I don't mean to make you wait longer, just trying to get stable here and I'll get right back to it. I hope that you can trust this won't be a dead project left on the shelf if I can help it.

I left cuz I learned you use BBL models as references. That grossed me out, and I then realized that I don't know what most artists use as references since people don't usually cite them. This was all beginning to warp my perception of women.

I'm really sorry to hear that. I figured I would put this out there in case this resonates with anyone else but I've been subscribed to you for almost 2 years through subscribestar and I want to say that I really enjoy your art, and it is really impressive how far you have come as an artist. I however also joined because of your particular niche with how you draw your ladies and the family stuff with the McKinlys and beyond. I think you had a really good pacing with your quality and post frequency with comics and art that I wanted to see. In this last year I noticed a pretty significant drop in post frequency and posts that I enjoyed. Along with you canning a few comics that your audience seemed really interested in like the bunnygirl McKinly one and the one where he brings his mom to the party. Some old art pieces that you were working on on streams from months ago just arent available anywhere and that is incredibly frustrating as a subscriber. The frequent canceling of comics and pieces that I enjoyed just made me lose interest. Again, these are just my personal feelings. I'm not sure if anyone else will feel the same way. I love your art and I wish the best for you.
I appreciate the kind words, thank you for your support. Means a lot! Edit, since patreon hit send way too fast: Yeah I'm very aware people dislike when I cancel things. I have been trying to post less sketches that I don't intend on finishing, or at least make it clear that they are just sketches, but still, I can't stop people from being disappointed about it anyway. I don't have time to finish every sketch I start, nor do I really want to. That being said, I've been returning to old stuff lately for that reason. There are a lot of things that I think are worth revisiting and that's the plan here. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "not available anywhere", though. I post nearly everything I make for patrons in my discord, at the very least. If there was something I sketched on a stream and didn't post it, it was probably something personal, or I didn't like it enough to post, which is absurdly rare. I'm also very confident I have posted far more in the last year. But if what I've posted isn't something you like, that's fair.
Hope you get better in whatever situation you are going through Inu.
