ep. 24 - a conversation with my editor, danae!
so excited to finally be doing this--my good friend and collaborator, danae o., who edits most of my videos on both channels, hopped on zoom with me to talk about how we first got started working together, her favorite video of mine to edit, life in santiago, chile, and more! we even spoke some spanish together. (if anyone wants the translations feel free to leave a comment!)

This was a really fun conversation to listen to! I am perpetually attempting to improve at reading/listening to/speaking Spanish beyond basic/medium proficiency, but it’s hard to find time to meaningfully practice and most of my Spanish speaking friends speak fluent English and prefer to speak in English outside of settings where Spanish is the primary language being spoken (with their families). Would love to hear more from Danae about her knowledge and love of Spanish! :)
First of all, no stick figure slander. That animation was iconic 😊💜 But it was so delightful to hear from Danae. Her humor is so fabulous, in her editing and directly in the chat. She would have me cracking up back in the day.
danae, the legend!! 🫶🏼 i can't believe i've been following both of you and your work for 5 years! this was so interesting (and fun)!
btw, me encantaron las partes en español! (lo entendí todo porque hablo portugués eheh)
