【サポーター先行公開】Virtual Room ＆ VRM Converter をリリースしました！

いつも応援していただき、本当にありがとうございます！
このたび、開発を進めてきた 「Virtual Room」 と 「VRM Converter」 を、サポーターの皆さまに先行リリースすることになりました！
サポーターの皆さまに一足早く触っていただけるバージョンです。ぜひ遊んでみてください！

Virtual Room とは？

お気に入りのアバターたちが暮らす部屋を、のんびり眺めて楽しむ放置系ゲームです。

  • 手持ちのアバターが部屋で暮らし始める
    VRMアバターを読み込むと、キャラクターとして部屋に登場します。VRM Converterを使えば、VRChat向けのアバターも連れてこられます。

  • キャラクターが自分で動き、会話もする
    ソファでくつろぐ、ベッドで横になる、キッチンで料理する、鏡の前で身だしなみを整える、観葉植物に水をやる……。何もしなくても、キャラクターたちは思い思いに過ごします。キャラクター同士の会話もあり、仲の良さによって会話の雰囲気が変わります。

  • 模様替えを楽しめる
    ショップで家具を買って、ドラッグで自由に配置できます。自分だけの部屋を作ってください。

  • 放置でコツコツ貯まる通貨
    ゲーム内通貨は時間とともに貯まっていきます。貯まった通貨で家具やアクセサリを集めましょう。

  • アクセサリ・実績・スクリーンショット
    キャラクターにアクセサリを着けたり、実績を集めたりできます。お気に入りの瞬間はスクリーンショットで残せます。

VRM Converter とは？

VRChat向けのアバターを、ワンクリックでVRM形式に変換できるUnityのEditor拡張です。

  • ワンクリックで変換
    シーンに置いたアバターを選んで「変換を実行」を押すだけです。

  • 揺れものも引き継げる
    VRC PhysBone を、VRMのSpringBoneに自動で変換します。

  • Modular Avatarの衣装にも対応
    Modular Avatarで着せた衣装を、そのまま変換できます。

  • 元のアバターを壊さない
    変換はアバターの複製に対して行うので、元のアバターは一切変更されません。

  • lilToonの見た目を再現
    lilToonのマテリアル設定も書き出せます。対応するアプリ（Virtual Room など）で読み込むと、lilToonの見た目のまま表示できます。

  • 軽いファイルで出力
    テクスチャを用途に合わせて最適化し、ファイル容量を抑えて出力します。

今後について

今回のバージョンは先行版です。今後、内容を充実させてから正式版をリリースする予定です（時期は未定です）。
- 家具とキャラクターのふれあいの追加
- 会話・待機アニメーションの充実
- アクセサリや実績の追加
などを予定しています。

I'm excited to announce that "Virtual Room" and "VRM Converter", which I've been developing for a while, are now available to supporters as an early access release.
You're getting your hands on them before anyone else. I hope you enjoy them!

What is Virtual Room?

Virtual Room is a relaxing idle game where your favorite VRM avatars live in a room you can sit back and watch.

Highlights

  • Bring your own avatars to life
    Load your VRM avatars and they'll move into the room as characters. With VRM Converter, you can bring in your VRChat avatars too.

  • Characters live their own lives, and chat with each other
    Relaxing on the couch, lying in bed, cooking in the kitchen, fixing their look in the mirror, watering the plants... Even when you're not doing anything, your characters go about their day. They also talk to each other, and how close they are changes the mood of their conversations.

  • Decorate your room
    Buy furniture from the shop and drag it anywhere you like. Make the room your own.

  • Earn currency while idle
    In-game currency builds up over time. Spend it to collect furniture and accessories.

  • Accessories, achievements & screenshots
    Dress up your characters with accessories and collect achievements. Capture your favorite moments with screenshots.

What is VRM Converter?

VRM Converter is a Unity Editor extension that converts VRChat avatars to VRM format in one click.

Highlights

  • One-click conversion
    Just pick an avatar in your scene and click "Convert".

  • Keeps your physics
    VRC PhysBones are automatically converted to VRM SpringBones.

  • Works with Modular Avatar outfits
    Avatars dressed with Modular Avatar can be converted as they are.

  • Your original avatar stays safe
    The conversion runs on a copy, so your original avatar is never modified.

  • Keeps the lilToon look
    The converter can also export lilToon material settings. Load them in a compatible app (like Virtual Room) and your avatar keeps its original lilToon appearance.

  • Small output files
    Textures are optimized for how they're used, so exported files stay small.

How to Download

Download links are posted in the Supporters' Discord.

New supporters:
After you join, you'll receive an email with an invite link to the Discord. Please check your inbox and join the server.

What's Next

This is an early access version. I plan to release the full version after adding more content (release date TBD).

Planned updates include:
- More interactions between characters and furniture
- Richer conversation and idle animations
- More accessories and achievements
