Fallen (term 44)
Been a long time since I did a fullbody character piece :3 always wanted to paint somthing along the line of an angel falling. The background is pretty experimental as you can see I'm not a very used to painting sky backgroundsXD Had some trouble with it . But was interesting. I think I shoud be painting more skys it's actually a great way to creat mood .

Really love the color transition on the wings from the purity of white to black of fallen. :) Looking forward to receiving this one next month to hopefully use as my phone's wallpaper.

Whoa this is a very beautiful painting. The imagery is really cool. I love that you had the left wing in transition from white to black. And then also having it juxtaposed with the already blacked right wing. The particle effects look really amazing. The feathers burning off, the streaks of light, and the cloth ripping along with the direction of the fall look nice. Despite you having trouble with the sky background, I think it still came out looking really good. I agree that the sky is a good vehicle for creating mood. There are so many possibilities. Would love to see more pieces that take advantage of it. Overall this is a really pretty piece. Great job! ^^

This is gorgeous! The composition and the detailing is really beautiful and I think you did an amazing job with the sky, for it to be something you don't paint often. It's great to see a full body piece from you again, and something this highly detailed makes it a real treat. Keep up the amazing work!

Wow an angel falling down from the skies ! I really would love to see what you can do with the character "Tyrael" from "Diablo III" when, disappointed by the inaction of the likes of him, (to save humanity), he decide to cut his own wings and to become human. By the way, even when it's experimental your work is amaizing :)

Such a story in this piece. The way that her wings are literally transforming from white, heavenly feathers into the dark ones of the fallen as well as the motes of light streaming around her. Even her body language just reads of the descent. in more ways than one. Such a strong piece. Great work, Sakimichan.

Without a word, it encapsulates a dynamic dichotomy with her true nature and reason(s) for the fall; indeed the ambiance and diction seem as neigh palpable.
