Blake(term 43)
continuing off of the Rwby maincast series I'm painting, here is Blake :3Left one of her cat ear exposed :) I did experiment a bit with the lighting in this one was fun. Blake's black and white color palette is very simple, for that reason I decided to go with a single bright color (red) to give more interest to the piece. One more girl left from the main cast :D !!

I love how you have one of her ears out of her bow. Wish I didn't have to miss this term due to a military move.

Whoa this looks so cool. I am really in love with everything about this piece. Blake just looks so amazing. I really like the idea you went with for her bow and having one side unraveled to expose her ear. It has a very interesting look to it. Love those piercing yellow eyes and the way her hair is kind of scattered all about. And I also love the stance you painted her in. I think you're right that the use of only red in the background was a good way to bring a more interesting color palette to the piece. It also works as a reference to the White Fang, although I don't know if that's what you were going for. Anyway, this is an incredible painting. Great work Sakimi Chan! ^^ I'm really looking forward to your rendition of Yang now since she's my favorite.

She's beautiful! I'm glad you made at least one of her feline ears visible. Though, I actually really like how you made it so she is wearing her bow and it was torn to show one ear. It's an important part of her character, hiding her heritage due to the persecution she endured. But I adore her feline traits. In any case, I love this piece! I look forward to your rendition of Yang, and I hope you continue with team JNPR! <3
