Blood Snow Dragon (term 37)
For this terms male nsfw pinup you guys voted on Blood snow dragon from my original. I wanted to create a male character with a prominent red tone in his design. I think it's a nice contrast to the grey tone of the snow background :)also thought it'd be nice to see him sleeping or resting. I haven't drawn any resting characters much. Also left it not rendered too much, I feel the brush strokes adds some personality to the piece ^_^

This is just beautiful! The roughness of the brush strokes do add something to the painting, some added texture and dimension, which suits the subject. Really love the serene and restful expression on his face. I think you should really paint more characters 'at rest' because you've done a really fantastic job with this one.

The red tones definitely contrast with the rest of his skin so you did a great job with this character. Kind of curious, though: what's the circle piece attached to his neck collar supposed to be? ^~^;
