Thumbelina (term 30)
One of my favorite childhood fairy tales ^_^ ! wanted to do a painting on her. Looked up some reference on water drops on leaves (wasnt too sure how to paint them) , was very helpfull :D references are the best !fun fantasy painting : ) I wanted to put something in there for size comparison, so I though a hand would do the trick XD Anyways thats just my take on everything.

This is truly a beautiful painting! Great work on the water droplets! You wouldn't guess that you weren't sure how to paint them, because they look like they have been painted with the natural ease and skill that you approach with all your paintings. Beautiful composition and colouring too. Just so much to love about this.

Sakimi chan, a wonderful drawing, once more... Every detail in this picture is adorable, but I love Thumbelina's freckles the most. I wish you could paint an Arrietty (Hayao Miyazaki) illustration one of these days, too!

I love everything about this! Her pose is cute, the bee and water droplets look amazing, and the hand giving her a dress makes me think of the Cinderella and little mice. :p So what was your exposure to Thumbelina? Disney, or the actual fairy tale? :D

Ooohhh... So pretty! What about Tinker Bell? She was (is) my favorite Disney character growing up.
tinker bell is adorable, maybe I could do something original with that at some point ^_^
Also, the once thing I love about water drops on leaves, is that they always look like jewels so you captured that artistry amazingly too.
When I got the email I was expecting the Warner version. Amazing film, loved it to bits. I love your version though and the lil bumble :3 so cute. Would love to see her again with the dress on at a later time, maybe with the prince :D

Bugger me, this is fantastic, lovely colours, the bumblebee and his blurred wings, the water droplets (bruh... those water droplets though), the little dress and the way it transitions from one colour to another, just brilliant. And Thumbelina gerself looks great of course, have a personal fondness for freckles so that's a nice bonus.
