Hi and thanks so much to all the new members who have joined after the tension video! I really appreciate all the support on it and the bonus video, it's been amazing to see how many people have said it's helped them or improved their understanding <3
I'm working on two new projects at the moment, one I can't talk about but am really excited for and should be out in hopefully under 2 weeks, the other is a review of zowie's 600hz monitor which I'm also very excited to post! The last monitor review was received really well and I enjoyed making it a lot, it's a topic I'm keen to delve further into.
For a bonus video for next month (I'm going to try get them out monthly or at least bi-monthly from now on) what would you all like to see? I was planning on making one to release alongside the monitor review talking about how it impacted me in aimtrainers, since I actually prefer the 480hz oled even though 600hz with dyac should be way better for kovaaks. My plan was to talk about what scenarios I tried with it and speculate a bit about why I preferred the OLED, but if any of you have any other bonus video ideas you'd like to see let me know! I'm open to ideas.
The last project I want to share something from is a video I'm working on about polling rates and am still in the testing/researching phase for, but I thought you all would find my testing interesting.
This is the averages from around 40 runs per polling rate per scenario, and there is a definite trend visible here. There is a pretty substantial jump from 1k to 2k, 2k to 4k less so but still noteworthy in my opinion. What to make of this specifically I'm not sure yet, and I do want to do more testing before drawing any definitive conclusions, but it does seem like having a higher polling rate does help with getting higher scores in aimtrainers! That video should come out sometime next month, after the secret one and monitor review
