Dedicated gay room in playground
Folks, it looks like it's tough to find an opponent for an m/m action in Virtual Playground recently. After the discussion on Discord with other players we assume that it could be related to the fact that the catfighters dominate gay players all around. It sounds like a nice 80s movie plot but in fact, many people just lost interest in the game because they can't find what they need. So, what do you think about the idea to have a dedicated Gay Bar separated from the main room? It's not about the separation of the audience and splitting the "one for all" room, but rather giving an additional safe space for m/m interaction. So we keep one big room for everyone as it is now (available for any action and any preferences) and also got one additional room for m\m only?
As a person who just enjoys any kind of naked body it's hard for me to decide how to better address it so I totally rely on your voices and will be happy to hear any input

Damn, I'm pansexual so I'd check in as many dedicated room as you could set up! I totally love the idea
I don't see a problem with optional spaces. Heck, call them VIP booths and make them for anyone Gay/Straight/Lez/bi. Those who want a private match get it and those who prefer free range get that.
I am gay and definitely vote in favour of a separation of rooms. When I'm on NF3D my objective is to satisfy an erotic need. I agree that we have a bit of a there's not enough players conundrum. The thing is that since female nudity and straight sex are turn offs rather than turn ons for me, it means the VP at the moment exposes you to things you don't really want to see and wouldn't seek out. And if on top of that you can't find a gay partner to play, it gives you even less incentive to log on. Neutral clothed spaces where we all hang out would be a better middle ground if we want to foster a community where we can all jang out regardless of our sexual preferences, but i do think having designated spaces for each would also mean a better erotic experience that suit each needs and let's the person decide how much they get of what. I have a bit the same with the welcome scenes when you login to the game, female nudity isn't my thing and you get a full wallop of it on nearly every login. It's just not my cup of tea and there's no way for me to turn it off. 馃槄
I think we have the players, i'ts just as the poll seems to suggest they are not comfortable in mixed crowds (I appear to be in the minority on this), so I guess if having a separate gay-oriented VP makes them more comfortable to participate then it probably is for the best. I know I get plenty of matches in MP, but rarely see those guys come into VP.
Personally as a Gay player (CMH in the game) I personally would rather keep the community together as a whole rather than create ghettoes for the gay community in the virtual playground. There are more than enough spaces in the VP to find a private corner to play in, and the new private message system allows to create "private" rooms for Role Playing. I think the bigger problem is lack of a central location to set up matches - something that the discord server could be used for. Right now finding m/m matches is kinda like two ships meeting in the night - you might run into one, but again you might not.
I have a feeling that "organizing" matches are not an easy task in general. While people play in different time zones and only a minority of players actually use Discord. I see a lot of people asking for "VP right now?" but most of the time the channel stays silent. We simply didn't have enough players to keep a stable online. That's why I'm thinking about what else could we do to keep at least those who are already with us. Like giving them a more comfortable place maybe
I don't have a horse in this race (but fully support all sexualities) so I'm not going to vote but I think having dedicated M/M (and F/F for that matter) room options might be worthwhile. (If for nothing else to ensure that there is a nice safe space for it.) Just my 2 cents.
I was not a big fan of dedicated spaces from the very beginning and don't want to separate the audience too much if we can avoid it. I really enjoy one big space for everything :D But if we have a strong request from the community, well... we could try.
