A little bit of progress and thoughts.

Models are all done. Power, Denji and Reze took the most time to rework, as I tried to make them as "canon" as possible while still adding a touch of my own flair.

So, about the game.

Firstly, it's getting a new setting, no more school thingy, which may comes as a disappointment for some. Why? I've come to see the school setting as a filler, but back when I was still very new to this whole game-making ordeal, it was the easiest and fastest way to go, which was not the best decision. Sometimes to struggle is to learn. And I deeply regret not allow myself to experiment more. That's why we will get this new game is the original setting, where they're Public Safety's Devil Hunters.

Secondly, because I didn't try things out before committing to work seriously, the direction of this game was a mess. I ended up trying to do to many things at once, fence-sitting on whether to make this a kinetic novel with an interesting narrative about corruption or a visual novel with sexy gameplay, and both turned out horribly dry. This is what I most regret about, so this time I'll focus on making this a genuine porn game which would rub you in the right way and place ;') Of course, it's a Chainsaw Man parody, so the girl's personality would be respected as much as possible, just as how it was done with the previous version.

Thirdly, my obsession with Power. She was my favorite, and then I forced everyone to follow through with her first before getting to know any other girl. We all have our favorite, and I should let you decide with whom you want to progress. As a game developer, I should work for the players. As I play more and more games, I realize that one simple fact which would have made this game easier for all of us. Although it's certainly unlucky for the Asa lovers, because...she won't be appearing just yet.

Yeah, with Power, Makima, Kobeni and Reze, I think I have enough on my plate for now. Two bigger problems with me are perfectionism and biting off more than I can chew. It also leads to the lack of update and communication with supporters, for I wouldn't show anything I deemed "lacking". As much as I would like to see myself as that one guy who works diligently in the dark, without a need for rewards, towards an impressive goal....I'm not that guy. This kind of rigid thinking does nothing but harm to me, and I'll fix it.
