Do we know what games get used for the backgrounds? I’m always curious
Speaking of really old stuff, I was born on the 200th anniversary of the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus and they had a promotion where if you mailed in a copy of the birth certificate, they would send back a free ticket voucher. My parents did this and received a voucher that says it is "good for any performance, anywhere, anytime". We recently found it cause they never used it and I wonder if it would still work...
If y'all decide to do some Destiny content and you need fillers for a raid or something, there should be plenty of community members that could help with raids, myself included 🙂
Andrew says Onion the way the mother in Ted says Indian
My wife has always said Ung-yun and I love it so that conversation made my day
The Coffee News collab (that one's for you, Geoff) has GOT to be titling all Coffee News publications as "Goof News" for an April Fools Day promotion or something!
RE: long trip for a short reason Didn’t Gavin and Bernie go to India for a haircut or something? (<
On the topic of contacting old companies, I've been pretty in to buying old science fiction / fantasy magazines and they are FULL of stuff like that. I've even debated reaching out to a few myself (I even found an ad in one for a store that uses to be like 6 miles from where I live lol), I'd be happy to send some of the ads and contact info to y'all cause realistically I'll probably never get around to it, but I'm super curious what kind of responses you'd get!
I used to work at a little Caesar’s and that’s pretty much how we made sauce minus the power drill, we were all manual lol
After hearing Eric's thoughts on take-home pizza I'd love to hear his take on AYCE KBBQ 😂
Ask Eric how he says "crayon" lol
Why did Gavin croak like a frog at 1:03:19 😂
I genuinely believe if you start just before Andrew says "I'm trying so hard to not even include a G," the following is the greatest minute of this show to date
This episode made me realize I say ungion 💀
Onion
my boyfriend worked at little caesars and he will never eat mayo again because of how it was made
Also. I say onion like Andrew and my wife's response was "If you ever find yourself on Andrew Panton's side, you need to know you are wrong"
It's me, I am the guy that was driving to work about to crash my car while Andrew kept saying "ungion". Literal tears 😂
I wonder if German Chocolate will come up during the foods named after places draft
I would love to get a coffee news pamphlet! I hope they can convince each other to load them in the next merch drop! As a thanks or a small charge doesnt matter to me
Freaking out about the possibility of Regulation Destiny content
Isn't every pizza 8 slices? Like, am I insane?
How did we make it through the whole "onion" and "almond" segment without a single "wauxht?" from Gavin? Almost as impressive as me staying on the road through it.
The sauce thing is 100% true. We had a giant whisk and a much bigger container though. It did sit on the gross floor. It's just water, a packet of tomato paste and a big bag of spices. I worked at Little Caesars for 2 years as a teenager. It was disgusting. You could stand your shirt up by itself after a shift from all the grease and the smell never left you.
I love Papa Murphy's, tastes good, usually good deals on big pizzas, you can add anything you want to it (I usually add more cheese), thin crust is their go to which is my favorite, and you get to cook it to exactly how you want so no under done or over done pizzas.
On the part that talks about having one flavor and it being something completely different… I had that happen to me back in my drinking days… I went for a drink of what I thought was beer, but actually it was chew spit. Talk about jarring.
I'm on Andrew's side with onion, I had no problem with how he was saying it.
As somebody that hasn't had a sense of smell for almost 24 years, I call bullshit on the "fact" that your nose does more for your taste than your tongue does. Science says I should only be able to taste the 5 base flavors of umami, sweet, sour, salty and bitter and that's just straight up horseshit. If anything I would say that your sense of smell HINDERS your taste, as you are not experiencing the flavor purely for what it actually is.
Steak information Pizza math Regulation syllabus
Hope Geoff gets to play the new game 'Over The Hill' some time - it is Trucks, but pretty. Highly recommend it!
The oldest phone number still in use is 1-212-736-5000, which served as the main number for the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City. It was originally assigned to the hotel, possibly as early as 1919, when the hotel opened its doors. It holds the distinction of being the longest continuously operating phone number in the world.
Papa Murphy's is pretty solid option for people on food stamps. As it's considered a cold product and falls under it.
Idk maybe it’s a Canadian way to say onion? I don’t hear what they’re saying is different. Andrew sounds like he’s saying it exactly how I do
Interestingly, up until September 15, 2026 Columbia House was still accepting orders
This is episode 207
Been a while since we had a title that was completely gibberish
Erick is 100% correct about almond.
This podcast fucking rules, great ep!
Andrew has always said onion like that througout the history of this podcast. Pizza slice count - 28
“We have GTA at home #3” came out? I can’t find it.
The 16th of Oct is the first day of fantasy fest in Key West so bingo is gonna be WILD
I havent laughed at a two syllable Ungion that much in my life 😅 wow! What a beautiful way of words.
The function of a language is to relay a message from a broadcaster to a receiver. As long as the correct message is received the language used did what it supposed to do and that language was correct. Grammar and correct protonation are important for receiving the correct message, but it is not the law, it is one tool among many. Language is a living thing, it changes constantly. Going against the correct pronunciation can add to the message, so there is no correct pronunciation. When Andrew was talking about onions, everyone understood the message he was relaying. There was no reason to criticize his pronunciation, the message was already received correctly, the language fulfilled it's function, the language used was correct. Now, you could say that it was banter, teasing among friends. However it made Andrew insecure about his pronunciation...in a podcast where his job is to talk. Any action that is reducing Andrew's confidence in talking is harming the podcast, so please stop. It is funny until it stops to be funny and you were close to that point. This is meant to be a kind feedback. I don't think anyone did anything wrong and Andrew has ways to retaliate. However, after a few minutes it became hard to listing others making fun of basically another's handicap. I have dyslexia, I know how frustrating it can be to stumble over an impossible word. It can be funny, but it is no fun.
I almost crashed my car laughing
Told Geoff this on his stream this morning, but thank you Regulation for everything. I was reflecting today while listening to this episode that I look forward to these episodes so much every week! This is legitimately my favorite part of the week. I appreciate all of the laughs and craziness!
Once upon a time, I worked at the Little Caesars in Nanaimo. It's not on the floor, it's on a rolling circular tray the regulation amount off the floor for storage.
Potential 207 of just ungion
5:45 10/10.
The whole onion conversation made me see Brian and Stewie saying coolwhip
At 12:40 Andrew says “I wanted to get rid of the container, the bag” despite being very opposed to the idea of a bag being a container before
Andrew, there's a phrase for "take home pizzas." Take and bake.
To answer your question Andrew: when i was living in the barracks in the navy (no oven or microwave) i ordered from papa murphys not knowing i had to cook it. I stared at a raw pizza for 20min before i gave up and ate at the wendys on base instead. Hahaha
Ungyung is killing me right now
When are we getting a "Me Tongue is Me" shirt? It has strong "does rocks float on lava" energy to me.
Andrew fully says ungion what the fuck
My longest trip for the shortest thing for me was when I had to drive 3 1/2hours one way to drop off a garage door opener my uncle forgot at my house. I met up with him handed it to him and then turned around to drive home.
So I’m watching at work, and when the “Onion” bit started I had to close my office door because I was choking and laughing 🤣
Until Andrew said the "lemon sours" he was talking about were candy, I fully thought he was just getting hammered in his bedroom.
They are really missing an opportunity by not doing Halloween sloppy Joe’s bingo
It could be fun to do a quarterly goof world edition nationaly for coffee news
This is an old episode
We love papa murphys pizza, I have a traeger that I'll put it on and it's a wood oven grill at that point so good!
Eric go lucky picking the 16th for Sloopy Joe's, at the time they made the decision, it was entirely possible the Padres would be playing in the NLCS when they were trying to do bingo. The ungion bit reminded me so much of the Benedict Cumberbatch penguin documentary.
I was wondering if a Gus would be better at the coffee shop guessing. But I doubt Gus is a listener. Then I was wondering how much ex Rooster Theet associates are listeners and could they help Gavin? The mystery person was probably not a listener, but someone that knows him could be.
Andrew has no ongion confidence
Just about every piece or Regulation Content lately, I have found myself asking the question, "Is Andrew Okay???"
This rules
my wife has a geographic tongue, deep ridges means no spicy. tongue does different taste.
also new at a job, not driving off the road but jesus christ people think im insane
I’m crying in the work truck to this damn onion bit😭
I can't believe they finally caught the Onion thing. Also can't believe they never noticed before! I always thought they knew and just never said anything
A full pizza over the span of a week is not bad but it can’t be healthy. That’s a slice per day or two for 4 days. Maybe pair it with a salad. The answer to Gavin’s comment about pizza chains quality is both. Large pizza chains don’t care for quality and it’s dropped a lot while local places offer great quality at or near the same price.
Ungiun
I'd like to thank Eric for calling out that someone is going to drive off the road. It snapped my sleep deprived ass out of dozing off, about to go into the shoulder listening to onion, ongion over and over.
On the chicken subject. My husband works for a pork food plant and they process roughly 10,000 - 15,000 hogs a day
As a Canadian living in the province next to Andrew, I say onion, the exact same way and constantly people ask me if I said ongion, I’d truly don’t understand how that slip happens or how people hear that, but I get the same question asked me all the time too
I'm gonna predict that Gavin is to blame for this episode's thumbnail. Logic says it'd be Nick as the food guy, and Andrew is definitely a hard second pick, but my gut's telling me Gavin's to blame.
Called it.
That shitty pizza place that gives you a raw pizza and tells you to cook it yourself... I really wonder if it is cheaper than a normal pizzeria since they only do half the job, or is it just as or even more expensive than a normal place
In 🇬🇧 all supermarkets have a deli counter of take & bake pizzas. It's half the price of normal Takeout Pizza, but thats not worth missing out on the quality you get from a pizza cooked in an actual pizza oven.
Now that we know Eric doesn't like shower stuff I guess he has to go through the sour gauntlet it would be great content
There are definitely audience members that need to hear this: Yes 50 pizzas in a year is a TON.
You mean to tell me Alabama doesn't teach taste bud etiquette Pennsylvania did
I thought everybody's tongues were unique to themselves
Didn't Chef Mike say he caused serious change in the global economy when he changed the type of lettuce or some shit for McDonald's? Think it was an off topic or something
I remember him saying they explored a blueberry desert and realized it would consume all of the blueberries in the US
37:00 HE'S ALWAYS SAID IT WITH A G AND IT'S DROVE ME NUTS GOR THIS ENTIRE PODCAST'S LIFE!!!
The guy driving to work wanting to drive off the road was me, Eric
Andrew's for sure saying "Aww-mond" 🤣 Pizza Count: 7
Every week, another layer of the omyeong that is Andrew peels back
Would love a World of Warcraft Forever series to do Dungons of just the 5 of them but not like the PPP of AH and have a 1 tank 1 heals and 3 dps set up
I think the person is Tom Booker.
Im the guy driving to work Eric was talking about, fucking kill me, I pay for this every month
Checking in here as the guy driving to work and wanting to drive off the road!
Is there a episode 207 of losing brain cells? I'm voting this one,
Does Andrew’s “Pizza Wave” follow the moon cycle? Like full moon his pizza wave is stronger
I've heard a similar thing about McDonald's that if they wanted to do a shrimp menu item worldwide that they would basically make shrimp extinct because there's not enough supply.
Eric’s comment made me lock in while driving to work at 5am laughing to on-g-ion
Whilst non-dairy milk does take a lot of energy, water and land etc to produce, it is still far lower cost than dairy.
The Andrew onion pronunciation thing reminds me that Eric is one of those people that say "bolth" instead of both.
Im one of those people lol
Andrew has a case of the bilinguals: 'Oignon' is how it's spelled in French and written on all products (next to the English). Lots of Canadians have sloppy pronunciation that sounds like phonetic French just from exposure, especially if they don't speak both languages and have practise separating the two.
If you ever decide that you want to play Sloppy Joes bingo but at another location there is a live stream outside one of the most popular bars in Temple Bar in Dublin, Ireland.
“Umgyun”
Ungyen
I easily eat 1 pizza a week. I grew up in a C.P.K
The second half of the episode when they start just repeating words it felt like all their edibles kicked in at the same time.
@12:35 did andrew just confirm that a bag is indeed a container
Ongion successfully ragebaited me on my drive home from work
Ungion
You're so quick to call out "ongion" but you've let him get away with "sandwidje" for years
Well unless I missed the video, we now know gta at home three lol Looking forward to goof town news Regulation Pizza Slices: 12
I really appreciate Andrews speaking confidence ❤️ He's speaking over people, but I'd just say that man's "Pep" is at an all-time-high. Edit: This post was made before the Onions bit 😂
Geoff has my second favorite "Hello."
Well now I simply must know what number 1 is. I personally am a big fun of the Nostalgia Critic’s hello
Gavins weekly guess is like trying to guess what anma means
Or Greg from Finance
Ayoooo
i haven’t been having a great night so i’ve really been looking forward to this
Let’s gooooo!!!
