Never have I agreed with Gavin more than this. Sauce is not 'Wet' in the same way 'Soup' is. There is a reason there is 'Tomato Sauce' and 'Tomato Soup'. You would not put Tomato Soup on a pizza. Butter is also absolutely wetter than sauce. the majority of food you put butter on is already warm and you are melting the butter into it. name 5 pieces of food with you put the butter on and eat it without it having melted.

When I visited the US years ago, the butter was unpleasant. I'm wondering if they are going to use a very yellow salted cooking butter, or the very very pale stuff I had. I had toast, added butter, was sad with the taste, accidentally licked butter off my knife, realised I didn't have disappointment toast - I had the butter equivalent of Table Syrup or Grape Jelly we got in diners. Yuck.
I think this episode was the most Andrew like Gavin has ever been well being the most British
I love how Geoff kept bringing up melted mayo as if that’s what people do.. You melt butter which is Gavin’s point nobody melts mayo or ketchup right? Gavin always has an avenue to win the arguments but never takes them haha
