They both find out about some demons the other is fighting and choose to protect and care for each other through it, this chapter makes me want to cry out of disgust and anger, but also makes me warm and fuzzy when I see how the boys care for each other already. Adil being all silly to get jays mind off things, jay tenderly cleaning his face (and slipping in another ‘pretty’ comment I see you jay) ugh my heart

OMG!!! I JUST NOTICED SOMETHING WHILE REREADING IT FOR THE FIFTH TIME! I don’t know if anybody else noticed it because I don’t really read the comments, but when Adil opens the envelope with all those blackmail pictures of Jay, you can faintly see the bits of a handwritten letter among them and i think it says “I’ll be in NY soon”????? I hope you're doing well, Sasha. And after saying hello comes my observation about the chapter. I was reading with my cousin and I almost fell out of bed when I saw the contents of the package Crish sent.I can't believe how he wrote all that disgusting stuff without thinking it through first. What does he think he's doing? Jay could use all those photos to report him to his mother and the police, but I guess Jay is protecting his mom from a huge disappointment. How will Jay's family react to all this? Will they cover it up? I come from a Christian family, and I've seen how they cover up for abusers like that and accept them into their homes because, according to them, "we have to forgive them because the Bible says so." Incredible writing, Sasha.
