Iβd say Noah is attracted to both his looks and that whole successful vibe, as well as the fact that Hagwood was kind to him and gave him a job. Noah gets attached to people pretty easily if they show him even a little bit of kindness

Thank you so much!!! Yeah, of course! I think Iβll write more about it in another post, but basically: Mr. Hollywood (his actual name is Mr. Hagwood, but Noah calls him Hollywood) is a young employee at a huge meat company. He got the job through connections because the owner of the company is his fiancΓ©eβs father. Hagwood is a party boy, a hedonist, and a gold digger. He also has addiction issues, he often gets drunk or takes something and then does stupid shit. Hagwood found himself a rich fiancΓ©e, but he got caught doing something that was basically cheating. To keep his marriage and the money, he begged his fiancΓ©e and her father to give him a second chance and let him prove his loyalty. So his fiancΓ©eβs father sent Hagwood out to the middle of nowhere, where they were planning to open a new slaughterhouse and processing plant. They needed someone from the management office to get everything up and running, keep an eye on things, and live there. That person ended up being Hagwood, because for a party boy like him, being exiled to the countryside was basically the ultimate punishment.
