Well, his parents basically dumped him on his grandfather (his dad's father) and went off traveling, living in communes, taking part in various volunteer and charity projects, and so on They're kind of hippies, they reject the system, society, and money (even though they both come from fairly wealthy families lmao) I think his mother probably has a degree from a prestigious university. In any case, their families are the ones who financially support them Sam's grandfather, despite being genuinely wealthy, is a very stingy, conservative, and strict man. He's emotionally distant as well, and he's the one who raised Sam under constant restrictions. Sam barely knew his own parents

Thanks!! I'm not sure about Sam's mother, while his father is Georgian (from the country of Georgia, in the Caucasus) So that would make Sam ethnically Caucasian (*Not in the way people mistakenly use the term for white people, but an actual Caucasian)
