I spent a long time thinking about whether to post them or not, but I think it helps people understand what exactly Adil saw (although in the comic, when the pictures overlap each other, we see them the way they looked through Adil’s perception, since he didn’t actually look at the details. He looked for literally a second before realizing what they were and immediately crumpled them in his hand)

In general, he photographed Jay pretty often because he genuinely thought Jay was beautiful, and he also wanted to capture moments when they were happy together
Of course it’s absolutely awful that Chris saw those photos, but outside of the context involving Chris, I think Jay remembers those moments quite fondly, moments that, of course, were only ever supposed to stay between him and Sam
I think that in a way, by not showing those photos to Jay, Adil preserved at least that part of Jay’s past untouched by Chris

Just want to say how much I appreciate your work. As a femboy I’ve never felt so represented by a comic series, in such a real, tender, and humanly sexy way. These things are often only behind closed doors but it feels so true to life, and it feels so healing to see these types of moments immortalized in such a painterly, gentle, and still hot way. Yeah, I think if Jay ever had to remember those photos, he would remember them fondly Of course they’re part of his private life, but he was genuinely happy in those moments, and for him those moments were one of the few things Chris was never able to reach or ruin (because in almost every other memory from his past, Chris is involved somehow)
