I only subscribed a few days ago, and I just can't stop rereading the comics and looking through the sketches! And OMFG, the first chapter hits SO differently when you realize what Jay was actually about to do with that cup of pills while Adil was just admiring him from afar. 😭 I was like, "AM I FUCKING BLIND?! HOW DID I MISS THAT?!"

THE CAT IS THE MUM?? Ok maybe I'm insane but I just had the thought that on slide 49 Adil's Dad says 'Yk, the black one' and maybe it'll be relevant later but for right here right now I can't help but feel like the black cat at the start is his Mum watching over him </3

Totally recommend opening this on a laptop if you can; the art is already magnificent, and a bigger screen just lets you take in all the little details all the better :))

Your flow of your dialogue and your framing inspires me a lot. I struggle with thinking about how to place basic comic panels in my own work, but your scenes are so cinematic and every inch seems so well thought-out and planned thematically and it is such a joy to examine every scene! It really makes me sit back and be more careful in planning my own style :) I have loved your art for a really long time and I'm so happy to be able to read your work now :) I look forward to seeing where the story goes!
