Grandpa

This is a very heavy topic, one I understand quite well, on one hand, because I've cut out very toxic people before (some of which have reformed and are much better people who are now back in my life); on the other hand I don't have children so I feel like my opinion is only semi valid. I think if the person who was cut out of your life hasn't changed, apologized and/or done whatever you feel is necessary to start repairing the bridge between you two and the others they have hurt then the answer should be a very firm "No and here's why." The right thing to do would be to have your mum take you to go see your father, if you're okay with that, so your father can attempt to make amends with you. If that can't happen for whatever reason then they have no business seeing your kiddo, regardless that your child is related to them. This is a tough situation, I'm sorry you and your family had to deal with it.
You're absolutely right :)
Gawd, I hope that Pops says "NO!" No kid needs to be put through that, not even one as self confident as AJ.
oh like both my parents...i would tell her to change meds...

Sorry to hear that.
