has no one considered the fact the launcher is MALWARE and is a cryptominer because windows defender activated over the virus and bitdefender did
Windows Defender and Bitdefender detect it as malware because the launcher lacks supporting certificates. These are called “false positives.” If it were actually a virus, no one would use it, since people would eventually realize it and there would be complaints about it.

I'm preparing a major update to the mod that I've already posted on curseforge the thing is that I want to get the source code from the original the silence and change the spawn frequency of mobs since in other mod remakes they often make spawns more frequent to make it more fun to play the meme version of the mod.

I honestly would like to say by leaving this message, is that this mod is pretty unique honestly. Furthermore, The mod *does* kinda work within the MP environment. But I wanna say that the entity that appears around the player in sp normally- has a tendency to only target whoever joined first. Instead of at pure random for who it chooses to appear around.
The mod is not tested for multiplayer play yet if that's what you meant, thanks for your opinion :D

The version is the most recent. But if you want to always be updated you can join my Discord server. No, the watermark is from the theft and copying of mods. In fact a user already copied it :)

This is one of the only horror mods that actually had me scared, but i have the same thoughts as "Θεόδωρος Μπαϊρακταρης" in that the creatures killing you ruins the mood since you cant even outrun them, maybe try making it so the longer they chase the faster they get?

this mod is *awesome* i felt genuine fear, like i was being stalked, but could you please make it so the "attaque" and the "+" dont kill you? the mood was set so very nicely, the feeling of not being alone, and then i just got killed by an invincible entity faster than my running speed.. kinda ruined the mood
Oh right, in fact I'm still testing how much damage I give to the invisible entity. I think I know how much damage to put into it now that you mention it. The entity that is in the stone structure configures it so that the player is left at 3 hearts, so that it really is a threat

this might be a stupid question, but forge doesn't recognize the jar file when I place it in the instance's mod folder, any clue what I might be doing wrong? Like the file is very clearly in the folder, but doesnt appear in the mods list in game or in the forge loader
The thing is that the mod is not yet listed on Forge. You must do it externally as if you were starting a normal Minecraft without using the Forge Loader

epic also prob add curseforge so i can put into modpack and suggestion u could add tunnels in the style of a player dug it the closer you get to the structures
The problem with tunnels is that not easy to generate without bugs. I already tried it and it's not easy at all

Just posted a video on this and man I love how classic Minecraft horror this feels. Crazy how it's a demo and not even the full version. Gonna record again in the next few hours and try to explore the remainder of the mod.
Wow I love the start of this mod and can't wait to see more of it soon! I know that it's a demo but I think that adding extra/glitched audio effects that aren't jumpscares would be cool to see, like if you have a jukebox at your house and then suddenly it starts playing music. I think that things like that would add more tension to the mod but otherwise I like how this is turning out
