Hi everyone,
Summer In The City: Season One is now available on GOG for $5.99 with a release discount of 25% for the first week, then it will go back to the original price of $7.99. Get it now and save a whopping $2.00, hehe. By purchasing Season One you will be directly contributing to the development of Season Two.

Why GOG?
GOG's company philosophy speaks for itself. They're big supporters of ownership. In times of massive attacks on ownership by the big corporations (I'm looking at you, Sony and Microsoft), it is more important than ever to have alternatives available. Besides being an ally in the ownership question, GOG also follows the goal of preserving new and old video games and making many of our beloved classic video games available to be enjoyed on modern systems. A very commendable endeavor if you ask me.
Buy Summer In The City: Season One on GOG and it will be yours forever. GOG will also provide you with a DRM-free offline installer besides having the game in your GOG Galaxy library where you will receive all future updates automatically.
There is one little caviat though. I've created a bunch of achievements for Season One, but they're currently not working due to missing native support in the Ren'Py engine for GOG's SDK features. I tried hard to find a workaround these past few weeks to no avail unfortunately, even with help from GOG's dev support team. We then made the tough decision to release without achievements enabled for now. Achievements will of course be made available immediately as soon as they're actually working.
Let's give Summer and the bunch a warm welcome at their new home on GOG. Summer In The City: Season Two will also make its way onto GOG when the time is right.
Now let me thank all of you once again who made this possible in the first place, everyone who voted on GOG's Dreamlist program, hollandnavigator for setting up the Dreamlist page and The Grim Lord for getting me in touch with GOG's BizDev. And a very special thanks to all supporters on Patreon and SubscribeStar. All this wouldn't have been possible without your love for the game and your trust in the project. Much love!

P.S. I was planning a key-giveaway-event for the release, but haven't received any yet. Gonna do it as soon as they arrive.

Love the news about SitC coming to GOG. Its my preferred platform for getting games. I really enjoyed my time playing SitC Season 1, I just have one criticism on Season 2: To me, the huge smile every character has in every scene (so far) feels creepy and uncanny. Big smiles are lovely for fitting scenes (e.g. reunion with bff and mom) but I would prefer more realistic facial expressions when just talking with others. To me big smiles of every character in every scene makes the world and characters less believable/ immersive. Thanks for taking the time to read this, all the best, Flip :)
Gorgeous 😍
Oi mate! Please don't disappear on us!
Oi Mate, would be nice to hear a bit from you. How are you doing? How is development going? How was gog doing for you? Did it Go as you expected? Are you disappointed? Something like that.
i love this game, but i cant get in the GOG shop just because i sit i damn Germany and content like this will be filtert in shops and even a VPN doesnt help.
💓💓🖤
Bought another copy on GOG, hope it helps.
Wish more games would get on GoG though I've heard it is hard to get on there.
As a hardcore GoG fan I totally appreciate your message, it's well-spoken! So what I'm going to do is: Buy your game and keep it forever, cheers my friends :) edit: And bought it! :)
Man, that's fucked. I am in Germany. I could vote for it in dreamlist. I even get a notification that my vote in dreamlist helped to bring it in store blabla. But I cannot Open the store page. Not even when I use a vpn with Location USA. Any idea what goes wrong?
Same here. But it could work with a key. It works on Steam at least, because they can't tell you what can play and what you can't. So with a key we should be fine.
That’s truly wonderful news! Congratulations! On the other hand, it’s a real shame that Valve made such a foolish decision. This game really should have been released on Steam as well. But, well, there’s nothing we can do about what’s already happened. Once again, congratulations!
