[Dev Log] Version Update & Personal Status Report

Hello everyone, this is LactoQuest.
I uploaded the latest version v2.06 of Her Fall in the Last Days.

🛠️ Update Details

• Fully proofread, tested, and unified all three language versions: Japanese, English, and Chinese.

• Fixed a bug preventing access to the civilian area from the west side of the safe zone under certain conditions.

• Fixed fade-out and BGM issues during the injury event.

• Fixed a bug where dying in battle would immediately trigger a game over.

• Hunger or mental collapse no longer causes a game over or slow movement; instead, the heroine’s lust level increases.

• Fixed an issue where the training ground was inaccessible unless you talked to Yamashita.

• Redrew two CGs.

• Fixed a crash that occurred when clicking equipment during battle.

• Fixed overlapping NTR events that could trigger simultaneously under specific conditions.

• Added a debug (cheat) item inside the neighbor’s house.

• Fixed slowdown after viewing scenes in the recollection room.

• Fixed multiple bugs that could cause the game to freeze.

• Corrected numerous sound effect errors and other minor issues.

⚙️ About This Update

Although all three languages were thoroughly tested, I can’t guarantee that every single issue has been completely resolved.
That said, the overall gameplay experience is now much smoother compared to previous versions.
This update does not include new story or content, so replaying is not necessary unless you wish to see the improvements.

To all players who experienced frustration in earlier versions, I sincerely apologize.
I’ll ensure that future works offer higher quality in translation, flow, and gameplay experience.

Meanwhile, the multilingual localization for Stigma of Corruption: Nightbound Courier is also being refined in parallel.

Currently, I’m working on structuring the logic of the puzzle section, with about 70% overall progress.
I’m also adding new CGs based on player feedback to make the experience richer and more complete.

🕊️ Personal Update

Finally, I have some sad news to share.
I’ve always loved my work and deeply appreciated the support you’ve all given me.
However, this month, I may not be able to post updates, and the side story’s release might be delayed.

The reason is not related to development—but to my family.

This morning, my father was diagnosed with cancer and is currently undergoing further tests.
It’s a devastating shock for both my family and me.
I tried to continue working today, but my focus kept slipping, and I often found myself forgetting what I was doing.

Although my family told me “you don’t have to come back,”
I know this is the time they need me the most.

Therefore, I’ve decided to temporarily pause my work and return home for about two weeks to be with them.
I’ll still try to work on the game whenever possible and do my best to keep the side story on track.

I’m truly sorry for this sudden interruption,
and I sincerely thank everyone for your constant understanding and support.
