Flixxs 6.7 — Public Preview

Same road, same time, same conditions.

But a completely different atmosphere.

6.5 already delivered a strong golden-hour image, but 6.7 takes the entire scene further without relying on a simple brightness or saturation increase.

The new golden-hour tuning is built directly into the filter, giving you:

• Stronger sunlight without destroying cloud detail
• Warmer, more natural light across the entire scene
• Better reflections and surface response on the car
• Cleaner shadow detail without flattening the image
• More convincing sun rays and light falloff

The result is a brighter, more cinematic sunset that still maintains depth and contrast.

Night scenes have received the same treatment.

6.5 keeps night scenes dark and grounded.

6.7 builds on that foundation with a more expressive lighting model and completely reworked glare behaviour:

• Brighter, more readable roads without washed-out blacks
• Improved ambient lighting around cars and scenery
• Stronger separation between headlights, streetlights and reflections
• Correctly functioning daytime and nighttime glare profiles
• Adjustable glare shape, star length and rotation
• More responsive emissive lighting and bloom

Night glare is now selected independently from the daytime profile and transitions automatically as conditions change.

6.7 is not about replacing what made 6.5 work.

It keeps the original foundation and rebuilds the weak points around it.

The original shared 6.5 colour-grading system returns, keeping colour selection simple and consistent instead of splitting everything into separate daytime and nighttime LUT controls.

Alongside that, 6.7 introduces newly authored defaults across:

• Tonemapping
• Exposure
• Colour
• Bloom and glare
• Sky and clouds
• Ambient and emissive lighting
• Reflections and surface response

Scene Brightness now works properly with the Spec tonemap, and the scene-compensation system can finally respond correctly to overcast weather, daytime lighting and morning or evening conditions.

Flixxs Studio has also been upgraded for 6.7.

The new Studio build controls both Flixxs 6.5 and 6.7 while keeping the same live workflow—every adjustment is applied instantly while the game is running.

6.7 includes its own newly authored default look, while the built-in Flixxs Legacy 6.5 preset restores the original 6.5 defaults in one click.

So if you prefer the classic image, it is still there.
