Development Update #22

Hello everybody!
It’s time for the first devlog of the 0.7 dev cycle.

But before we get into the usual progress-report shebang, I want to take a moment to say thank you to all of you!

I couldn’t be happier with how this release went.
It’s extremely rewarding and motivating to see people enjoy the fruits of months of hard work.

Devloging starts here

Aight, let’s get this started!
It’s been a little over three weeks since 0.6 first released, and I’ve kept myself busy!

Writing, Renders and Animations

As soon as I broke out of the release-dopamine-induced stunlock, I started writing the beat sheet for 0.7. That took me about two days.

Time well spent, because writing gets a lot easier when you have a detailed roadmap in front of you instead of loose bits and pieces flying around in your head. Who would have thought?

I spent the following week writing the actual script. I made some decent progress, but there’s still a huge chunk of writing left to do.

But let me tell you, we’re going to start 0.7 with a bang!

This update opens with an absolute monster of a lewd scene. I’m talking 300+ renders and 4–5 animations with 3–4 camera angles each (final numbers may change, because that’s how development goes).

That’s also why I don’t have many renders to share right now. I only started posing the first scene this week, and about 90% of the renders are NSFW.

Generally speaking, this update will be very lewd-heavy. Right now I have lewd scenes planned for 3 characters. I might need to move one of them to the update after, but that's a decision for future Volos.

God damn, this was supposed to be a quick update...

I'm here to give you full details, and we need to worry. The progression of the monogamy game is continuing, and you're not seeing the signs. He is heavily favouring Nadeshiko right now, and we need to sway him back towards the righteous path of Julie (July). The best month and the best girl.
