Touchdesigner Notes Tool Update! (FREE)

Hey all! Just wanted to make this much needed quality of life update to the notes tool I made for touchdesigner. Hopefully, this tool is a lot more usable and can help optimise workflows and projects. I'm very curious to hear from those using this so please reach out if thats you! <3

What changed

Editing

• Copy and paste now work, including pasting from outside TouchDesigner

• Keyboard shortcuts work: ctrl+A, ctrl+C, ctrl+X, ctrl+Z

• Pressing Enter on a to-do or bullet starts the next one, Backspace on an empty one removes it

• Clicking anywhere on a line starts editing it, instead of having to hit the text exactly

New shortcuts

• Tab and shift+Tab to indent and outdent a block

• alt+up / alt+down to move a block

• ctrl+D to duplicate a block

• ctrl+Enter to tick a to-do

• Up and down arrows at the edge of a block move to the next one

• Type "- ", "[] ", "# ", "> ", ``` or --- in an empty block to convert it

Sketch

• Sketching is now a layer over the whole note instead of a separate block, with pen, eraser and clear. Toggle it off to go back to typing.

Lite version

• Done to-dos are now obvious (green tick, tinted row, dimmed text)

• Text starts at the top of the page instead of floating in the middle

• Larger default size and type

Both versions now open with a single "Start here" example note.
