Ahoy Buccaneers!
Today I have several things to share with you, because with v0.51 we are returning to the main story and starting a new adventure with Carrot!
But before talking about Carrot, I have seen some comments from players who had questions about the new lockpicking minigame, especially on Android. So I want to start with a few quick tips to help you understand how it works.
The minigame only uses two actions: tap or click to test a position, and press and hold to open the lock. You do not need to drag or move the lockpick manually. Try briefly tapping different points on the screen. If the lock does not move, try another position. If it moves a little and then gets stuck, release before the lockpick breaks and try a nearby point. Once you find the correct position, press and hold until the lock opens. It works the same way on PC, although moving the mouse lets you see how the lockpick’s position changes, which makes the system feel more intuitive.
The minigame is not meant to be difficult. If you are struggling with it, you are probably pressing and holding before finding the correct position. I recommend starting with three quick attempts: one on the left, one in the center, and one on the right. Pay attention to which area makes the lock move the most, then keep testing around that area until you find the correct point. If you still have questions, remember that I always publish a free game guide with explanations for every minigame, as well as information about the story and characters.
Now, let’s talk about Carrot. In v0.51, we travel to Zou, a new island where her story takes place. For those wondering why we are not continuing in Dressrosa, I held a poll, and the winning option was to begin a new story with Carrot.
And here she is: Carrot, the bunny girl who will join us on this new adventure!
Remember that, like every character in Lusty Buccaneers, Carrot is an adult in this adaptation.
With Carrot, I wanted to take another step forward in how the characters express their emotions. Until now, the girls only changed their facial expressions. Carrot now also changes her pose depending on what is happening during the dialogue. This makes her reactions feel more natural and expressive. Here you can see two of her new poses:
It is still too early to confirm an exact release date for the Patreon version of v0.52 and the public version of v0.51. However, if everything goes according to plan, they should arrive around the middle of the month.
Over the next few days, I will be sharing much more news, previews, and updates about everything you will be able to find in the next version.

Looks great as usual! Although I'd suggest that Carrot's skin could be improved to be more matte or slightly velvety/fluffy, instead of the usual shiny wet skin look, to keep more in line of the source material as well. (Not fully furry as it doesn't seem like it.)

Hey, I would love a mechanic where you could call a girl, and when you go to their sex options, one option could be a threesome. Yes! Kikunojo can definitely be considered in the future. Like other characters, her chances will depend on future community polls and which arcs are prioritized.

I'll consider your suggestions and ideas. For now, I'm not planning to change the beginning, but I might look into it later. As for previews, I always make Sneak Peek posts for Patrons, while for everyone else I make posts like this one, where I tease small things, like Carrot.

That's the idea! I’m testing out this whole expression system, and I want to keep improving the older characters and arcs over time as I develop the game, including expressions and animations. I’m also planning to revisit the older arcs. Thriller Bark was the first one released, so it has become a bit outdated.

I didn't really like the look; she seems to have paler skin than the hair she should have. I didn't find the outfit interesting; perhaps she could have taken inspiration from one of her anime outfits.
Carrot's outfit is actually inspired by one of her canon outfits, but I made it a little more revealing for the game. As for the other details you mentioned, it’s a matter of personal preference. It also follows the character’s details.

Hey Kiriti! No content is mandatory in Lusty Buccaneers. If you progress far enough in the story, you will eventually reach a point where an option warns you that continuing will include furry content, allowing the player to choose if you want to allow furry content or not.
When u buy, mistakenly/ early to the game, 6 beer rather than 20 for totus bar the item no longer get shown on the game

this is just a suggestion, but I think it would be cool if we could buy different outfits for our crew. and you could tie it into the lust love features IE a slutty out fit would have the requirement of 50 lust and 45 love.
