No Refunds🚫
As of recently, I have been debating over whether or not to implement a refund policy on Patreon. After careful consideration, I have decided to implement a no refunds policy. Due to the sensitive nature of my content on Patreon, I will not risk the potential of individuals listening and downloading my content before then asking for a refund. Yes, this is a common issue for creators.
Here are a few examples of Patreon requests and why they will be immediately rejected:
"I forgot to cancel my membership" - I'm sorry but it is not my responsibility that you forgot to cancel.
"I accidentally bought a membership" - I cannot determine whether you have already downloaded or listened to my content. Therefore, enjoy the membership until it expires.
"I didn't like the content" - I post public content on a multitude of platforms. All of that content is exactly the same as what I offer here. If you don't like what I do, you shouldn't have bought a membership in the first place.
I don't mean to sound harsh or rude. I just take the potential of being scammed very seriously. This is my income that is being messed with. If you can't support the Patreon, that is more than ok. I have plenty of free audios elsewhere for you to enjoy.
I will admit, I am a naive person and always expect the best in people. This policy is for my sanity and I hope you understand. Have a lovely night💜

That all makes perfect sense. If the current state of the world has taught me anything. It's that a lot of people are garbage and you should not let them take advantage you!
It's our responsibility to take care of our subscriptions, I sometimes forget to cancel a service like hbo max or others, but I don't go asking for a refund I just use the extra month and don't pay again

I don't think any reasonable person should be requesting refunds from creators like this. Like even when I was deadass broke, if I fell into one of those 3 categories I'd just deal with it and move on. You're great LeyLey, and totally justified. 👍

I didn’t even know requesting a refund was possible.
There are plenty of confirmation screens and detailed $ amounts of what you will be charged so I don’t see how someone can accidentally sub to a membership tier.
