Your take may not be wrong but for me, Emily's vocals are way better than NeNe. When I first heard Emily sing live, it literally made me emotional and I had no idea why. Her power and clarity is second to none. I am probably in the 1% crowd that actually prefers Emily's live versions of old songs vs the originals.

I follow you on LP reactions and of course at the end of the day you're just saying your opinion but man, I've seen enough to say that you don't seem to appear confident in Linkin Park even though you say you're a fan. Like none of the reaction around this AGT I've seen compared them the slightest and here you're saying even before thier performance they shouldn't have done it. Like literally every reactor I have watched were just so proud and happy for nene that she got to perform with LP. Also if you didn't notice how nene looks at both emily and mike, also how happy those both are seeing nene performing, it's incredible and inspiring. There's a meaning and significance of nene performing with Linkin Park here which I don't think you're understanding. Again, I like your reactions and there's nothing against you but I have seen you come off as negative or lack confidence a lot of times whenever it comes to Linkin Park.

I would like to comment on Nene+LP part: To me, Nene was obviously underpowered. You say she hits notes better, but you did not watch her enough to understand that she always improvises off notes, so notes that you just heard Mike did not write. Emily sings notes that were written without improvisation. And all this talk about LP haters is simply people who hate LP; they are just unloading it on Emily's part. That is so insignificant already. They just did a tour bigger than ever where they played venues bigger than ever and last album surpassed in streams last 4 albums in just 2 years. LP is now bigger than las decade. A lot of it are simply new fans. And one more thing, I just listened to an interview for the Unshatter movie, I think of kroq channel where Emily mentioned this performance with Nene where she said it was asked from them to do that in the last minute so they only rehearsed a bit. But Emily said she liked it and explained how Nene is so professional. But look at the way they respected her: AGT always call some artist to perform in finals and finalists are only marginally treated. Mike gave Nene his part, they put her in the center, Emily stepped back on side and back while Nene was singing. Or maybe that was told by scripters too. They need that voting money maybe... All in all, this was good move from LP because they will certainly attract new young people into their listener base. As for those "oh she was suppose to be a singer" these people say this for everyone. Especially Maphra who was proved to use autotune or autopitch...
