Development Update — GOL & The Ascendant

Hey everyone! 👋 This is Crabby and Eyewish.

I wanted to share a quick update on the development of both Goddess of Lust (GOL) and The Ascendant (formerly The Breeders), along with what you can expect in the coming months.

1. Goddess of Lust (GOL)

Unfortunately, due to some frustrating circumstances, GOL is unable to launch on Steam for now.

Because of this, I've decided to take a more relaxed approach to its development. I'll keep the existing gameplay mechanics intact and continue working on the story, but I won't be adding any major new systems or gameplay features.

The first part of GOL is also approaching its conclusion! My current plan is to wrap up Part One around February next year.

2. The Ascendant (TA)

Recently, Eyewish and I finished putting together the complete story outline for The Ascendant. The outline alone is around 20,000 words, so you can rest assured that the story has a clear direction and that I have a solid plan for where things are going.

The world of TA is fairly expansive, and bringing some of its locations to life may require a little AI assistance. I'm sorry if this isn't ideal for everyone, but since I'm handling the development on my own, creating every large-scale environment entirely from scratch simply isn't realistic for me. I'll do my best to maintain the visual quality and atmosphere of the game.

TA 0.2 is planned for release around the end of this month.

My primary goal for The Ascendant is to get it onto Steam. That's one of the biggest priorities for the project, and I'll keep working toward it.
