v0.3 - Development Diary #5

HEAR YE, HEAR YE, everyone!

Here's a quick roadmap of what's planned for v0.3.
On top of the new events, we'll also be rolling out some technical improvements based on your previous feedback.

TECHNICAL SIDE:

• You'll be able to give Alan a different name.

• You'll be able to adjust the textbox transparency from the options menu.

• When a new event becomes available in a certain area of the hotel, that icon's outline will turn red.

• The H key will completely hide the textbox (though this is actually a default feature in every Ren'Py game, so technically it's already possible right now, just wanted to mention it publicly).

STORY SIDE:

• New events for Carla

• New events for Kate

• Annabel's first event

• New location: The Elevator

• Introduction of Random Events

RANDOM EVENTS:
Let's take a moment to explain how these work. Random Events will only be introduced in a few specific locations, in 0.3, you'll only find them in the elevator. They'll be tied to Affinity Points, meaning the higher your score, the "hotter" these events get. On top of that, there'll be a big event called "Blackout," which will bring some smaller random events with it and (maybe, down the line) even a puzzle mini-game.

That's everything planned for 0.3
