Episode 3 Development Update
A quick Episode 3 update.
I lost a couple of weeks recently to being ill and generally not being at my best, so progress slowed down more than I’d planned. I’m properly back into production now though, and things are moving again.
The new crew lounge is finished, along with a full scene featuring Michaela and Maddie. Michaela also has a new off-duty look for Episode 3, which I’m really happy with.
The next scene with Captain Eva is now written and rendering has started, so I’m making steady progress through the episode again.
I’m also trying to be smarter with production this time around. Rather than rendering every tiny movement or angle change, I’m concentrating more on the shots that actually add something — expressions, body language and important character moments. That should help keep the visual quality up while making the workflow a bit more efficient.
There’s still plenty to do, but it feels good to be properly moving again.
Thanks for sticking with the game while things were a bit slower. I really appreciate it.
Here’s a first look at Eva from Episode 3.
That keeps basically all the useful reassurance without giving away the episode structure or what Eva is actually doing.
