Video Length

Thanks for voting. Although long vids won by a lot. I think I will take the advice from the comments and stick to doing shorter videos with the occasional long video when I feel up to it. This month I tried to do longer videos and yeah it's been a drag at times. Maybe I will incorporate character polls for longer vids and shorten the roster of characters that I'm interested in doing or maybe pick top 3. Bit conflicted on the matter but I will play it by ear and see what happens. Thanks again.

As others have mentioned, the longer videos lead to burnout and causes a lot of content creators to either move away from content creating or spend months not having anything to post. People like longer content but don't know how taxing it is to keep up the work, especially in moments where you're already tired or burned out from IRL stuff and then remember you need to commit to a project you've already spent the last weeks or month trying to make. I'd say do short videos and maybe the occasional long video. Or do a long video when motivated but, when you're burned out or bored, do smaller projects that are to your immediate interest, maybe?

Long videos are nice, but I'd say you should stick to short videos mostly with an occasional long one. Keeps up variety and you won't get burnt out constantly making long vids.

After seeing so many artists suffer from burnout, it pains me to see audiences preferring longer videos. Time and time again artists go for bigger projects just to get bored, or too consumed by the project which leads to increased stress and longer dev time. You already create few animations, and in such a niche genre. I am heavily against longer projects. I vote shorter projects with more alts like clothing, angles, character swaps, etc. To wait several months for a character someone may not even be interested is painful.

I like long, but if the shorts are a loop or has an alt version then it's fine.
