I just joined because I got into the Hotwife Hotline game. After seeing that it hasnt been updated for a long time I decided to leave. Hope u folks decide to continue on building it in the future. I really enjoyed it

This isn’t a critique of your approach to game development—you do make awesome games. But it’s a bit disheartening to see the games that got many of us invested in you left in their current state for so long. I’ve already shared my thoughts multiple times on how Hotwife seriously needs an update to fix its issues, and you’ve been incredibly kind in responding each time, reassuring me that you’re aware of it. I’ll stick around because, ultimately, you do make awesome games. I just felt the need to mention it. TL;DR: Don’t forget your OG games; they’re what got a lot of us invested in the first place.
First of all, thanks for the comment, MulleDullen. I completely understand where you're coming from, and I appreciate you sticking around and sharing your thoughts. Hotwife Hotline and OnlyMods were both created during a very different period for us. Back then we were building ongoing update-driven projects, whereas today we've shifted toward creating complete standalone games through the monthly vote system. One challenge is that our audience has grown significantly since Hotwife Hotline first released. A lot of newer members joined for very different themes, so older projects often struggle to compete in votes despite still having passionate supporters. That doesn't mean we've forgotten about them. We know there are people who originally discovered us through those games, and we'd still like to find a way to give them the attention they deserve. Long term, one of our goals is to find a way to better honor some of our older projects and the people who originally supported them. While we can't make any promises about specific timelines or formats, we'd like to find a way to provide those stories with a satisfying sense of closure and tie up their loose ends in a meaningful way, even if they don't continue in the same update-driven format they originally started with. One thing that's clear is that more niche games like Hotwife Hotline might not be meant for the voting system, and perhaps we need to find a way around that without impacting our development time of our community vote titles. At the same time, we also have a responsibility to the current community that's helping shape each new game through the vote system. Our goal is to find a balance where we can continue creating exciting new projects while also respecting the games that helped build this community in the first place. We don't have a concrete plan to announce today, but it's something we continue to discuss internally because we know those projects still matter to a lot of people.
