honestly i prefer when the mc has moments of outwitting or being a badass using cunning or maybe even brawn to get his way. the erotic tension added in these sorts of situations doesnt hurt either lol
I'm right there with you. I like writing a competent MC. We're still early enough in the story that it's going to be a mixed bag. But I think everyone will enjoy the auction, and how the story unravels afterwards...
