BIG Bite Add-On (Functional Delivery) V2
This Add-On to my BIG Bite Food Delivery Service will allow your sims for the first time to deliver food to other sims homes. That's right, now your sims have an extra side hustle to make money by dropping off food orders!
Under the new app BIG Bite Food Delivery, you will see an option to apply to join the BIG Bite team. Once your sim applies they will receive an acceptance message informing you that phone alerts will activate soon and your sim will be able to go on delivery offers. Your sim also will be able to order free food through the BIG Bite delivery app as a perk for signing up.
You will start to receive Delivery Job Offers to your phone where you can read some details about the order such as the name of the restaurant, Customer name, payment and delivery instructions. You can either decline the offer, or accept which will then make your sim instantly travel to the customer's home.
The customer will more than likely always be standing outside their home to meet you. You will also notice there is a delivery box in your sims inventory upon arriving to the lot. This would be the time to click on the customer and select the interaction under the Big Bite Pie menu to deliver the order to them. An interaction will play of your sims handing over the box and after it is complete you will receive payment and a notification. Tips will arrive to your sim an hour after the delivery is completed.
In the event a customer does not meet you outside or walks into their home before you can deliver the order, no worries, I have also included an interaction that allows you to place the box somewhere nearby (realistically near the front door) and take a photo and upload it to the BIG Bite dashboard for payment. The box will delete itself after 60 seconds.
If you would no longer like to work for BIG Bite or just want a break from the alerts, there is an option in the app to Leave the Team. You will lose the free food perk, but you can always re-apply to get back delivering orders.
If you haven't received an alert or would like to trigger more alerts to come through to your phone, you can select the Browse BIG Bite Dashboard for Delivery offers. This usually always guarantees a alert.

UPDATE 8/25 - So very sorry for this late ass update, life been life-ing, but this update should hopefully remove the notifications reaching sims who aren't signed up to be delivery associates. I also fixed the animation reference for taking a photo after delivery.

I've been waiting for this update. I thought the mod was a great addition... especially for my runaway teen. Then the notifications started coming when my Sim wasn't on the team. I had to remove it. Thanks for updating! RL stuff is more important, so it is greatly appreciated.

I keep trying to download the sims but they keep coming up damaged as if the sliders or somthing corrupted ive changed all of mine and updated them

Is there a way to disable the notifications for households who i do not want to be a Food Delivery Service? None of my active households have applied to join the delivery team but are still receiving notifications.

hey how are you so I had your luxe liquor lounge and function alcohol for a minute now the only bottles that let my sim get drinks from them are Abasolo Whiskey, and Onilikan Mexican gin, but there are Jose Cuervo, Martini Bianco Vermouth, Conjure Cognac that wont allow me to grab drinks from them once they are open and I don't know why its been like that I even redownloaded things to be sure I tried bulk bottles and single bottles neither worked these are the ones that are supposed to be functional not the cc ones do you have a fix

Hi there, just wanted to bring to your attention that I keep getting delivery alerts but this sim hasn't applied for Big Bites. There was a similar issue with midnitetechs' Simoleonz Side Hustlez mod, so maybe same prob?

Ordering food through Big Bite app is a separate mod only available to Silver Tier and will be available to Bronze tier on 7/6
I love your work! i’m so excited to use the mod but after putting these files i still didn’t see the app in game . My BE threw an exception for kiara construction career mod i removed that mod and the Big Bite Delivery app showed and now works i hope this helps someone ! thank you for all that you do for the sims community ❤️❤️

Sorry for the mistake on my end, please make sure to DL the XML package and Hotfix package and replace the original to fix the app not appearing in the phone. Thank you

Does the XMLInjector snippet need to go in a specific folder? I tried with just core library, xml injector and both files on the DL page and the app still doesnt show up.
Hello Meg, the xml snippet file goes in your Mods folder alongside the main mod file. the snippet file allows the game to show my custom app. If you've done all that and it's still not appearing let me know.

hey! so excited for this omgg I just added in these files but the app doesnt show in my phone? i also have xml and lot51, could it possibly conflict with other delivery mods?
Same for me too! I love this as I am a door dasher irl, so having this in game is awesome! However, I loaded everything and the app isn't showing up for me either. Anyone else having the same issue?
