DevLog: Down with the sickness

• Got the flu (still am not feeling back to normal as I'm typing this)

• Scene 10 has just completed rendering

• Working on Scene 11 (final scene of this update)

What I accomplished since the last update:
Happy Holidays, I hope everyone had a great December!
Unfortunately, while visiting family, I was given the flu. Fortunately: I've been quarantined to my office ever since Dec 25th. And what that means, is that I had nothing else to do other than to work on Echoes of The Cataclysm, day and night, non-stop!
Here's what that means in terms of progress:

• Rewrote parts of Scene 10

• Posed, lit, and rendered all of Scene 10

• Completely rewrote Scene 11

🛠️ Current Development

What I'm working on right now:
Scene 11
This is the last scene that I'll be working on before the release and it will contain a few new characters. But it'll be the scene that introduces Hamara. In addition, there's a brand new space that we need to discover within the PRISM facility (just like we did with the cafeteria) and it's something I'll be creating almost completely from scratch. And with this scene... oh boy, it's going to require a lot of creation from me. I'm writing this down not only to show you the work to come, but also as a mental note for myself:

• 3 new interesting female characters (see Sneak Peek, down below)

• An entirely new lab area (similar room as the Subject Intake Processing room)

• (I'm gonna keep this vague) A religious edifice environment

• Blizzard snow storm environment

• Foggy white cemetery environment

• City street environment

⚙️ Technical Corner

This is less of a "technical corner", more of a "it's all coming together corner"; and what I mean is that all of the learning, workflows, props, and preparation is finally gaining exponential momentum. Granted I have been quarantined to my computer and working non-stop on EoTC, but ignoring that, I have seen my output approach faster and faster levels. I'm able to import characters from Daz, create new environments, write a brand new scenes, pose characters, and render exponentially faster now. I almost wish I had charted my render output on a graph so that I could visually show you what I mean. But this, to me gives me great joy because I feel like I'm not in the weeds of the slow slow grind of learning fundamentals anymore.
As an example, Scene 9 took me about 3 weeks to complete, Scene 10 took me about 10 days. I'm thoroughly excited to continually learn and grow as a dev.

Sorry if I've been slightly more quiet; I've been sick for the past two weeks. But on the positive side, I've been very very productive.
