30 Days 0.6b + inGame guide

Hi.

Here is version 0.6b with the Guide included, no extra downloads needed. But first, an explanation. Just this time, there is no download of the game with the guide for Android.
The guide was conceptualized and created to be viewed on a monitor, not for small screens with weird aspect ratios. In fact, not even the new Patreon and Itch icons on the main menu work properly on Android... just by seeing that, I know the guide won't work. So I won't even try because it's impossible for me to fix any errors. I prefer you have the normal download without the guide, which works perfectly fine (at least as far as I know).
In upcoming updates, the guide will be included for Android, but not because I really want to, but because making the Android build requires copying all the files from the PC version... but you know, it most likely won't work.

Aaaand, if you think what happens at the end of the game is some kind of bug... nope, it's just the plain and sad reality xD

30 Days 0.6b + Guide, changelog.

  • New images: 1,286, for a grand total of 7,698.

  • 13 new animations (there are actually 14 new video files, but one is an identical variant with the only difference being a stain on MC, so it doesn't count).

  • 23,369 words of new dialogue, bringing the total to more than 131k words just for dialogue.

  • 3 new sound effects.

  • Small modification to the main menu (Patreon and Itch buttons, game logo with version number).

  • Second probable death for our MC. Although it's hard to get, it's there, so watch out.

  • Now it's possible (only applies to events in this version) to get different outcomes without closing the game, just by loading a saved game or sometimes simply rolling back a bit. Didn't like how something turned out? No problem, load your last save and it's highly likely you'll get a different result.

  • Full game guide in Developer Commentary format (not available for Android). The guide features 104 notes packed with all kinds of information, including key spots to save your game if you want to check out extra stuff, which is especially useful during the Normal Mode of the competition. Over 9,500 words... but it contains major spoilers, so watch out, I recommend not turning it on if it's your first time playing.

This update is the Normal Mode of the competition and its subsequent events, so to play it, you must have a save point at the moment Mother gives the GO! to the women. Not after that.
You should have it because that was the exact end point of version 0.5.8.
It's always worth reminding you, it'll be next to impossible to catch every single dialogue and image; even with the help of the guide later on, it's a completely wild task in some cases (the women reaching the finish line, for example).
For the content in this update, you don't need to exit the game to load a saved game and get a different outcome.

The in-game guide can be enabled or disabled at any time from the Preferences menu and is turned off by default. However, I recommend not enabling it until you've played the game at least once.

And just so you know in advance... the Patrons (and I) have decided it's better not to waste any more time. Safe Mode is no more. It's still available in this version, but it'll be removed entirely in future releases, since all it does is delay what could instead be extra content for Normal Mode or faster updates. Just to give you an idea, developing Safe Mode took over a month, and all that time could've been spent on other things.

I didn't know you were still releasing free versions 馃槷. I'm a bit out of the loop, so I have a few questions: 1. "Now it's possible to get different outcomes without closing the game, just by loading a saved game or sometimes simply rolling back a bit." Will you be adding this method of cheating retroactively to old random events in future versions? 2. "Full game guide in Developer Commentary format. The guide features 104 notes packed with all kinds of information, including key spots to save your game if you want to check out extra stuff, which is especially useful during the Normal Mode of the competition." Is the new guide the yellow text shown in the image 7 of this post? That notice is a major spoiler because it warns you about a future event. You're absolutely right that players should disable it before playing for the first time. 3. "And just so you know in advance... the Patrons (and I) have decided it's better not to waste any more time. Safe Mode is no more. It's still available in this version, but it'll be removed entirely in future releases." I don't remember what Safe Mode was, but I suppose it was designed to prevent people from crying so much during potential NTR scenes. What I do remember is that certain characters had exclusive content, scenes, and secrets in that mode. What will happen to that content? Thank you 馃!

1. No, because that means implementing already used variables in a different way and would cause old save files to stop working, and I've known from the start that you should always try to avoid that. 2. Yeah, that's it, and also on a lot of the choices to make, hovering your mouse over any of them gives you additional info. I know those are sometimes major spoilers, and that's why it's turned off by default. 3. That's true too... I don't think I'll have time to transfer what I did in safe mode to normal mode scenes. But it was a month's work and I wouldn't want to just delete it either. I'm still figuring out what to do.
