30 Days: Facts, curiosities, and uncertainties...

Hey there again.

Today I wanna try something different... exactly what the title says. You'll see.

1.- The image above features what you all helped put together... Jenna, in the new "uniform" for the substitutes (colors may be adjusted in the final version). This will be a typical outfit. It’s worn and removed normally, wears out and gets dirty like any other clothing, and doesn’t provide the same level of protection from the elements as the modern outfits in the story’s lore.

2.- Why the outfit change? Because now I have more resources. Thanks to you, I can afford things that were out of reach before. Back then, I needed a simple outfit, free of unnecessary complexity, so I could manually tweak the textures and avoid excessive rendering times. Sometimes, I even removed textures altogether, leaving just the base color. You never noticed because I avoided close-ups or masked it using depth of field effects.

With the new graphics card, I don’t have to worry about that anymore, unless there are too many characters on screen at once. The image above actually has better fabric rendering than any in-game image because I increased the number of subdivisions, which improves shadow detail on the clothing. Not long ago, I sometimes had to lower the subdivisions instead of raising them… Maybe you noticed, especially in early renders, that some shadows on the clothing looked off... that’s the reason. And I could never fix it, not due to lack of skill, but because I simply didn’t have the resources. Now, that’s history.

Safe to say, these new outfits make "undressing people" way more interesting... There are a lot more modifiers to tweak and refine things. Plus, the pants now have a zipper that actually works, letting me control how much they open or close.

I don’t plan on adding a bra, but from now on, characters in this outfit will have underwear... Which, of course, allows for more erotic moments without immediately jumping into the action. Still, not everyone will be wearing them. Just the substitutes and certain exceptions.

3.- Regarding substitutes... Each one will inherit the same score as the person they’re replacing, meaning they’ll likely start low on the leaderboard. Every substitute will have STATS (just like the other characters), which will depend on their physique and a few extra factors that I’ll determine when needed.

There are no male substitutes; if a man is eliminated, a woman will replace him. The replacements will only happen during the first 20 days of the competition. In the last 10 days, anyone who leaves will simply leave an empty spot that won't be filled... Finally, every substitute will stay in the same team as the person they replaced.

4.- MC’s a bit naive and impulsive at times, and that was done intentionally. Don’t overthink it. Why did I create him like this? It’s because I had to... If you make the right choices, over time, MC will get more and more clever. If you choose the darker path, MC will turn more and more into a true asshole, a bad person. If I made MC the perfect guy from the start, you wouldn’t notice the development along the normal path, and what I’m going for is a real, natural character progression... A perfect, fully confident MC from day one doesn’t leave space for growth.

5.- What the hell was that private chat between Mother and the Guard? Anyone know what it was about... because I totally didn’t understand anything.

6.- I have no clue what that small monologue from Miranda was either.

7.- Watch out for Kaoru... I’m not suggesting anything bad is going to happen to her or that she’ll do something bad, no spoilers here. But I feel the need to remind you that she’s still on Ronald’s team.

8.- Some comments on F95 tell me that a lot of people don’t pay attention to what they read. I really hope you’re not like them. Over there, some still seem to think Emma is the absolute truth, that she knows everything... Wanna hear the truth? She doesn’t know shit, haha... Yes, she knows things, but even Mother told MC that you can’t fully trust Emma’s knowledge. Think about it...

9.- More from F95... Why are there two forced sex scenes with no choice to decide whether or not to have sex?... The answer is really simple... It was totally necessary for the story. Linda and MC is required because the story needs it, and if you read it, it’s pretty obvious why (though, apparently, not everyone on F95 reads). If I gave the option and you say no to sex with Linda, I’d have to make MC die later... way later, and people would be upset because MC dies much later and they can’t go back, and they’d say the game is crap... What happens with Emma is the natural progression of the story between her and MC. It doesn't make sense to refuse because MC really wants to be with her, and it’s also necessary for future events, so it’s illogical to give the option of yes or no to having sex with Emma.

10 .- Yeah... don’t worry. By the time the first competition starts, no one will be in their Adam and Eve outfits. It was just a temporary thing, as the game implies.

11.- Did you know that Rachel was touching herself even before MC figured it out? Pay attention to the scene where Rachel tells Casandra and Sally to leave, and MC ends up pulling up his pants... Little details that maybe no one saw back then.

12.- Right now, there are 3 characters hiding things that will become really important later in the story... Well, technically, two are hiding something on purpose. The other person has a secret but isn’t deliberately hiding it. Regardless, all of this will have major repercussions...
