It's been a while and I'm sorry but, as I said at the time, not everything can be free in this Patreon world...
Kaoru, as mentioned in the "Knowing" section, is a spoiled rich girl, and I must add, bad tempered.
In a way she is somewhat right in being like that. She is forced to be part of the "high society" and she dislikes high society. Here in the photo, going to some boring rich people party that she evidently doesn't want to go.
Let me tell you a secret?... She is a mutant too...
Why am I showing you Kaoru and why am I talking about her?
She is the important character of the next update and I want you to know her a little bit more.
Let me tell you another secret... Did you notice a detail?
Rachel, doesn't like to interact with people, she has precisely the ability to choose who to interact with and who to send to fuck off quite effectively.
Emma, when she needed an escape route, something to help her defend herself, gets an ability that fits her perfectly and at the right time.
Megan, who is actually apparently rather ugly (according to her own words) and insecure, transforms into beautiful women and that helps her with her insecurity problem...
Kaoru is no different in this regard. She is moody, unsympathetic... her ability is going to change her, especially after meeting our MC. She "lives the future".
Yep, I said it right. It's not that she has the typical and well-known ability to see the future, she "feels" the future. Everything she can see, if it concerns her directly, becomes memories, with their inevitable and corresponding emotional burden...

In Testing power!I assume it works stronger on events in the immediate to near future, or she might simply go mad on the feelings of a whole life. Especially as "Always in motion, the future is" (Master Yoda). Very much looking forward to her; she's already one of my favorites.
Mmm, ok I'll tell you more secrets... As you say, the future is always in motion. She can see only some things and they may not always turn out the way she sees them. Also she can't see everything, only some things concerning the person she comes into physical contact with... and it doesn't always work. I think I said it before, I'm a Stephen King fan. Kaoru's ability is similar to what we saw in "The Dead Zone". She must touch the person (or be touched) to see future events concerning that person. And if by chance she figures in those possible events, they become memories... Interesting on one hand, and on the other quite terrifying. Imagine, for example, seeing someone close to you die in one of the visions. It's something that might not end up happening (butterfly effect), but you still feel all the rage and sorrow, as if it really had happened.
