Drama finished (fingers crossed).
Today I bought, today I put everything back together, today I breathe a sigh of relief...
As you can see in the photos, I got too excited and finally bought a 16GB RAM instead of the 8GB I had planned. Yes, I know, it's not a good brand. But I wasn't looking for quality, I wasn't looking for speed, what I needed was more brute force, higher numbers.
It has happened to me on more than one occasion that DAZ sucks up all my RAM (the 8GB from before) and everything becomes much slower than it already is. So, taking advantage of the fact that it was cheap, I bought it.
You know what's funny?... All this little problem was caused by a replacement of the power supply. In the end I'm using the same power supply (which now doesn't make noise or heat up... damn stupid thing) and that led to a modern hard drive, new motherboard, new and more RAM and new processor.
It's still not very suitable for what I do, but it's certainly a bit better than what I had a few days ago. And with this I at least have a basis for possible improvements. The processor doesn't matter, the important thing is that I can put another 16GB RAM and a much more decent video card in the future and this motherboard doesn't need to be changed for that.
I'm already exhausted, physically and mentally, so I'll continue my rendering work tomorrow.
Take care, and be careful what you buy. ๐

Fingers crossed that setup works exactly how you planned!!
Thanks... Everything is fine, up to a certain point. The important thing is that the system is stable. But I'm going to have to get back to it this afternoon because yesterday when I was doing a test render I didn't like the increase in temperature of the processor at all. The CPU came with a fan that looks good, big, imposing... and the CPU easily exceeded 60 degrees Celsius when rendering, and I'm not used to that. Maybe it's relatively normal for some but not for me. My old CPU has the best fan I've ever had in my life so this afternoon or evening I'm going to install it on the new one. It's a Deepcool, I think it's this one: https://es.deepcool.com/products/Cooling/cpuaircoolers/2021/14971.shtml But besides that, everything is working great :)
