Knowing MC (Main Character)
How nerveless of me to show his face, just like that...
Some devs search and search for camera angles and blocking objects to simply not show who this important character is. And the fact is that, deep down, IS NOT YOU. It's not you and it never will be. For him to be you, you should make decisions every second and not when the developer feels like it and after taking you to places where you would never go. You should forge his personality and not the developer.
So why maintain the false illusion? It makes no sense to hide MC's face because in this type of game you will never have total control and therefore you are not him. You can make some decisions from time to time, similar to what you would do, but you will never be him...
I need you to see his face, because that is the way to begin to feel interest, curiosity. It's the basics of establishing a connection. If I can't even see his face, how can I feel anything? I need to show his face because the face reflects feelings, moods and even things as simple as showing which direction he is looking, which can be important for some event. And unless you're a very good writer, those things can be lost if I never see MC's face...
So here's our MC, perfectly visible since always, and you're not him. HE is a Veterinarian, 28 years old and eager to become independent in terms of work. He's never been one of those party guys. He was always a bit "nerdy" and a nature lover. His physical condition is not bad and he has his muscles "well placed". He is not a beauty, but not ugly either, and he has something very hidden that many women will love... YES he has a big member, it's a necessary cliché if you want some women to fall quickly instead of having to drag out a story for months.
Short phrase that best describes him: Whatever, but it's not you...
