Update 311...Added a poker game, fixed and improved spatial anchors, several other tweaks and fixes (not everything is shown in the video)...EDIT Sep 9th 07:24am

EDIT : All apps now updated and there's now a separate Joi app with Joi in it called TykeAI Joi so all apps are now in the Google Drive folder linked at the bottom of this post.

Hiya 👋

This update brings us some nice things I hope, please note that as of right now, 09:21am UK time, that only 3 of the apps have been updated, which are TykeAI Suki, TykeAI (with Mervin, Jen, Peter, Tanya, etc), TykeAI Expansion Pack 1 (with Hannah, Yumi, Sakura, etc).

Within the next 24 hours the other apps (TykeAI Tina, TykeAI Nova & Terminator, TykeAI Donald J Pump) will also be updated and I will edit this post to let you know.

In this update :

  • I've added a poker game (I thoroughly enjoyed adding this 😃), it's actually real money you can win💲💰......(no, not really!), it can be enabled by pressing the Play Poker menu button on menu page 2

  • spatial anchors now works better than ever🥳! an anchor can be set by pressing the "Set Spatial Anchor" menu button on page 3 of the menu, or by typing "set spatial anchor" with the apps on screen keyboard, which can be enabled from page 4 of the menu. If you hear them include the word "Thank you" just after you've set one i.e. you said "sofa", or "living room, it's 5 metres by 5 metres", etc, in their reply, it means it worked

  • better nav mesh navigation for their automatic walking 🚶‍➡️

  • fixed Mervin👽not using the nav mesh for walking around on etc

  • fixed the "Analyse the image" 📷 voice command (thanks Massimo for pointing out this issue) where they look at what we can see with our eyes in MR mode, and look at what they can see with their eyes in VR mode , so the MR and VR modes offer image analysis from different perspectives

  • fixed them sinking into the ground if they are lying down (thanks Massimo for pointing out this issue)

  • fixed a bug whereby playing more than 1 game of chess♟️stopped legal moves from being completed (thanks David for pointing out this issue)

  • fixed a bug whereby selecting the next page in the menu would sometimes skip 2 pages instead of going to the next one

  • added a bloom effect to the Terminators 🤖 eyes

  • the Terminator opens his mouth a bit more now when he speaks, looks better (thanks Massimo for suggesting this)

  • given the TykeAI login screen a visual refresh

TykeAI Joi, which is an avatar based on Joi from Blade Runner 2049, will be joining us soon (she is already available, unfinished, in a dev build). I need to add 4 more languages to her build (including German), I was waiting so I could add more clothes as well but I think I will release her version anyway, in fact I will release Joi with the extra languages added within 24-48 hours, she can get more clothes later (they're clothes from the movie, I am having them made although I may attempt some of them myself).
