Motorbikes with refillable gas tank!

I hope you had a lovely and restful Christmas holiday!
I really wanted fully-fledged motorbikes in game so I made them. When I say fully-fledged I mean:
The motorbikes can be ridden and make custom engine sounds
They need gas in order for your sims to use them
Your sims will need a driver's license to drive them
First, you need to have a few lessons to get your driver's license:
After each lesson, your sim will get a buff telling you they're getting more confident at driving. When they've completed about 3 lessons, your sim will get a driver's license.
If you can't be bothered with taking the lessons and you want to start driving now, just click on your motorbike and you'll see the 'Give Driver's License (cheat) interaction.
Now, you're ready to drive! Just purchase your motorbike from the Build/Buy menu. Prices are realistic.
When you hover over the bike, you'll be able to see how much gas you have.
As you ride your motorbike, your gas will slowly be depleted like in real life. When your gas tank is empty, your sim can refill it like so:
I also made a custom engine sound so now, as your sims drive around, you'll be able to hear your motorbike and not the sound of a bicycle.
Finally, you know how when your sims have a bicycle in their inventory, they will try to use them everywhere? For example, your sim lives in an apartment in San Myshuno and to get downstairs they try to use their bikes instead of walk 5 steps? Yeah, no more of that with this bike. Your sims will ride their motorbikes ONLY when you tell them to.
I made 2 motorbikes; a vespa and a vintage looking Triumph/Enfield motorcycle. They come in these swatches:
IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
You need XML Injector
If when you try to place the motorbikes, it says "footprint intersects terrain" just input the cheat "bb.moveobjects.on"
I make my mods in such a way that they are very unlikely to break with any EA updates. Still, I will check to see that they work as intended after any patches

UPDATE JULY 17th 2026: Fixed the Cheat Interaction (so you can easily get a driver's license). It was creating problems so now it appears without cheats. Included new Translations.

is there any way to remove the helmet or change it while driving???
You can download littlemssam's no helmet mod and that should completely disable the helmet

woaah! really love the mod!! my only "problem" with it that it would be great to have a no driver's licence need version too or make it compatible with the "car woohoo" mod that has a take test for drivers licence part - so now its a bit confusing I have both lol. Not an real issue just a little note that maybe in an update you should rename it to "licence for motorcycle or idk". Thanks for the amazing mod again!

it doesnt work for me. i have everything installed but the applying for drivers license isnt in the phone menue
When you complete 3 lessons (you can attend more if you like) you get an extra interaction called 'Take Driving Test' on your phone.

How did you make that world (is it the B&Hs one?) look like Paris? Is it a mod or just TOOLed it?
It's a world override mod by me. I haven't released it yet though. Probably end September I think it's gonna be ready

I love this mod so much, but I cannot for the life of me get it to actually work. My sims either glitch out trying to get their driver's licenses or won't properly attend the driver's classes. I also can't get the shift + click to work at all to try and bypass it.

My sim sadly isn't able to drive either model, they sit on them then get up immediately. Is there a support page I could look thorugh?

I did what I was suppose to do..got my license..but my sim won't get on the bike
Hello! You need to have bought the bike in your own lot, otherwise the game thinks you don't own it and won't let you ride it. I hope this helps!
