MHURUS & BKAA RELEASE UPDATE
MHURUS (My Hero Ultra Rumble Ultimate Swapper) is currently in active development. While I originally aimed to have it ready before the end of this week, I'm not entirely sure I'll hit that exact deadline just yet. However, I will be posting more information and updates very soon!
For those who haven't seen it yet (you can get a look at the new interface in an image), MHURUS is a desktop app for My Hero Ultra Rumble that lets you browse character costumes and swap skeletal meshes between them, so you can mix and match looks beyond what the base game offers. It reads the game's files directly, handles the mesh swapping for you, and lets you undo any change at any time.
Just like with skins, the app now features an Emotes section. It works basically the same way, allowing you to swap out character animations for animations from completely different emotes.
The app also brings major gameplay customization. The Quirks Sets section will allow you to play with any quirk set in the game, even new ones that haven't been officially released yet! Furthermore, the Custom Quirk Set feature will let you build and create your very own custom quirk sets from scratch.
On top of the swapping itself, the app includes a built-in mod browser with support for both Nexus Mods and GameBanana, so you can discover, download, and install community mods without leaving the app. It manages your installed mods, lets you enable or disable them individually, and handles archives with multiple files so you can choose exactly what gets installed.
Finally, I'm excited to announce that BKAA (Byking Armature Adapter) is also on the way, and I plan to launch it at the exact same time as MHURUS! Designed primarily as a tool for modders, BKAA simplifies the process of adapting and converting custom models and armatures so they work seamlessly with the game's skeleton system. I've been developing BKAA for about 3 to 5 months now (though for the first 2 months, it was just an idea!).
I also want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to all my subscribers. Your support is what gives me the possibility to keep creating more tools and more mods for you all, and I absolutely love working on this. If I've been taking a bit longer to post things here on Patreon lately, it's because I've been busy developing even more new things and finishing up several commissions all at the same time.
Most of the core features are working and I'm currently polishing stability, fixing edge cases, and making sure everything holds up before release. Thanks for the patience and support while this comes together. More updates soon!
