All’s Fair
I’ve been thinking way too much lately about Caitlin Fairchild… Gen¹³’s tall, brainy, redheaded knockout who could barely be contained by Image Comics, let alone by a swath of spandex pretending to be a uniform.
I kinda blame Gen V …that spinoff of The Boys on Prime which just never grabbed me. Yet every time I see the title it trips some weird subconscious switch and a little voice whispers, “Fairchild…” like she’s calling from a better, wilder era of comics.
She deserved better than what she got. She burst onto the scene with so much promise and so much presence, but the endless reboots slowly sanded down all the fun edges.
Happens to the best of them, I guess. Cheers.

The type of art and comics we should have by now right here! ♥♥ LOVED the original run of Gen13. Was so sad when they stripped all the sexy art from it after a while
They say they want “strong, independent women,“ but what they really want is ugly women who just complain a lot.
