Sound Design Feedback Wanted!
Hey everyone! I got some feedback recently about the sound design in my newer expansion videos, specifically the stomach gurgling noises that have been showing up more often.
I'd love to hear what you all think.
When a character is expanding, swelling, inflating, filling up, growing, etc., what kinds of sounds do you prefer to hear?
Some examples:
• Stretching fabric
• Balloon-like inflation sounds
• Liquid filling sounds (water, milk, juice, etc.)
• Heartbeats
• Breathing changes
• Creaking/stretching body sounds
• Magical energy effects
• Machine/pump sounds
• Voice reactions and dialogue
• Something else entirely?
Do the stomach gurgles work for you, or would you rather hear different effects? If so, what sounds best match expansion in your mind?
I'm always trying to improve the videos, so I'd really appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Stretching fabric voice reactions and dialougue and breathing changes always. Heartbeats can be good a specific moments for tension and punctuation to a growth spurt about to trigger. Otherwise, i would say match the story and type of growth. The more we get pulled into the story, the more impactful it is
Stretching, fabric, little moans, maybe liquid filling sounds, a bit of creaking maybe. Definitely effects that match the method of expansion if it's known, like a machine, "magic" sound effects. As an example of interesting sound effects, In comic animations there's the whoosh of a breast filling out suddenly, or a "poink" of the nipple expanding/erecting. That's probably a lot of work to get the AI to understand though (and I don't underestimate the difficulty of this for any of the effects), but it's very effective. (The stomach effects, which are just the effects of stuff happening in the stomach, are okay when the stomach is expanding or being taxed. Much of the time when they are used, you can't even see the stomach and there's no hint that it is growing. So it just feels off. And personally, I get a little uncomfortable hearing it because it sounds like someone is feeling very bad.)
For any type of Liquid inflation, really like to hear the liquid sounds. Moaning, shock or surprised (depending on the scenario), and yeah.
It all depends on the type of expansion. Magic, machine, liquid or air depends on what setting you're going for. Most people here are probably going to opt for liquid as it just sounds like the assets are becoming more juicy, filling with milk or water, etc. and if going that direction adding lactation would give some visual flare to the expansion
Gurgling and liquid filling sounds are always a plus. Light moaning and "nnngf....ooohhhnnn" are always good as well.stretching fabric is good. But not a personal fan of balloon /creaking . I feel like thise get used too much everywhere in inflation content
