Life with Macromastia: Still Growing (21+)

Every morning lately has started the same way: standing in front of the mirror, phone in hand, trying to make sense of what’s happening. At first it was easy to dismiss—maybe a strange fluctuation, maybe imagination. But day by day the change has become harder to ignore. Clothes that fit a week ago feel different now, heavier somehow, as if gravity itself has decided to settle more firmly on her shoulders. When she looks at her reflection, she can’t shake the strange certainty that something is still changing.

The hardest part isn’t the size—it’s the feeling that it isn’t finished yet. Sometimes, when she’s sitting quietly or lying in bed at night, there’s a subtle pressure, like a slow shift she can’t quite explain. It’s not painful, just unfamiliar. And every morning when she returns to the mirror, she studies her reflection again, wondering if today will finally be the day things stop… or if tomorrow will bring another change she’ll have to learn to live with.
