BTS – Jimin – Who, Like Crazy & Lie (Live)
Hello everyone and welcome back to the channel. We're back with another K-Pop reaction for you here today.
Three Jimin pieces in one reaction, spanning different points in his solo career. Who is the title track from his second solo album MUSE, a moody, orchestral number that shows off a very different side of him. Like Crazy takes us back to his debut solo album FACE, a soaring pop track that became one of the biggest solo hits from any BTS member. We close out with a live performance of Lie, his solo track from the Wings era, one of the most beloved deep cuts in his entire catalogue.
Three very different sides of Jimin, and a great way to spend some time with his solo work.

Like crazy is my favourite amongst the bts solos. Love it so much, I could cry every time I listen to it.
If no one has asked you, you may want to watch the behind the scenes /making of Who. It’s really interesting watching how he really has a vested interest in how it is put together. They had to move up the production time due to a storm so he went to the site straight from the plane.
There are 2 MiniMoni episodes where Jimin and RM talk about their albums - one for RPWP and one for Muse - and Jimin openly talks about the fact its been awhile since he's had a crush etc so I think you can take Who at face value in that its not about ARMY. Bangtan are pretty straight-forward about whether a song is for/about/inspired by ARMY or not.
Jimin wrote Like Crazy for his first solo album which reflects how he felt and things he went through during the pandemic basically. So Like Crazy is kind of depressing in a way, because he's singing about partying/not wanting to wake up/stay dreaming, aka running away from reality.
We actually get to know when song is about army and when it is not . They tell us clearly .
jimin FOREVER, he is diffrent
Yessssss!!!!!
Lie is pretty genius musically. What you picked up on was going from a minor key to a major. The circular feel of the orchestrations mirrors being stuck in a lie with no way out. It sounds super dark - it’s a minor key. Then it shifts to major for the chorus - a much brighter and happier sound. Notice, though, that’s when he’s singing about the lie. The happy and bright part IS the lie. Idk if you would have survived Set Me Free Pt 2. 😂 Also, the end of that mirrors the lift in Lie and I could talk about that for hours.
The massive mouth comments 🤣🤣
LIE YAY! 🎉
