Version 0.5 + DLSS 5 mode is now available! Announcement.

Hi everyone!

Finally! I can share the update with you. Links, as usual, are at the end of the post.

We’ve been working on it for over 2 months...

And it’s not just because we have almost 1,000 renders and 27 animations in there.

We also had to do a huge amount of work reworking the tiers, bonuses, an automatic giveaway of keys for the Steam version of the game, and building the architecture for all of that...

Because of all this, we ended up with a whole bunch of different builds with different access levels, permissions, and interfaces. It’s honestly enough to make your head spin trying to figure out what’s where... Testing all of this alone is very difficult, so I PROMISE you — THERE WILL BE BUGS. But we’ll fix them together.

Now, point by point, what’s new:

1. The content update itself: several regular scenes and two sex scenes.

Unfortunately, the scene with Elizabeth isn’t in this update — that’s just how things worked out — but I’m not ignoring your vote. That scene will be released in the very next update, separately, as an addition to the current build.

However, that vote did give me what I think is a great idea for a sex scene. It may not be to everyone’s taste, but it makes for an excellent prologue to Angel’s corruption route. It’s optional, by the way, so you can skip it. Still, I hope you’ll like it. And all it took was one comment — one that I think didn’t get any likes at all because it appeared last. So please leave comments: I read everything and seriously think over every suggestion. I’m sure the author of that comment will be surprised :)

2. DLSS 5 mode.

This feels like know-how to me — I haven’t really seen anything like this in other games yet, only individual screenshots.

I pre-processed all renders and animations through DLSS 5 and added them to the build as separate files — so you don’t need to configure anything or have any special GPU. DLSS 5 will work even on the most basic Android smartphone, as long as it can run the game at all without this mode. Essentially, it’s just a second set of renders that was processed in advance.

In my opinion, the static images became AMAZING, especially when it comes to the characters’ faces.

With animations, unfortunately, it’s not quite as clear-cut: the colors can shift a bit and there may be other artifacts. Some animations turned out well, others not so much. I’ll also try to improve their quality further going forward.

Of course, your opinion may differ from mine, so you can enable or disable this mode at any time.

But DLSS 5 is not available to everyone. Sorry.

We need to provide some special bonuses for those who support the game especially actively.

So for now, DLSS 5 for the ENTIRE game is available only to the Loyal Ally tier and above.

The other tiers will get a limited mode up to version 0.15 (that’s up to the end of the first sex scene). For more details, please check the updated tier descriptions.

3. Music room.

Now you can listen to music from the game right in the main menu. A new icon has been added there, which will appear for Dedicated Supporter patrons and above. You can add music to a playlist and loop individual tracks, the entire playlist, or just listen to single tracks. The track names are still a bit strange for now, but we’ll fix that later.

4. Weekly giveaway of free Steam keys from Angel's Love.
The game isn’t out yet, but we’re already giving away keys — 10 per week!

The rules are EXTREMELY simple.

You need to open any of the new versions and click the “Get a free Steam key” button in the main menu. You’ll be asked to add the game to your Steam wishlist and submit a link to your profile for verification. That’s it. You’re in the giveaway.

As a bonus, you’ll also unlock a pack of 4K wallpapers (which will be expanded over time) and access to DLSS 5 mode for version 0.15 content (up to the end of the first sex scene).

The giveaway is automatic and checks all entries for an active wishlist, so if you remove the game from your wishlist after registering, you’ll be removed from the giveaway.

Your Steam profile also has to be public (not private), otherwise the script won’t be able to check your wishlist. But all of this is explained in the in-game instructions, in maximum detail and step by step. You’ll figure it out.

To check if you won, you’ll need to download and open the demo on Steam (it will be updated soon) and click the “Check” button there. If you won, the game will give you a key; if not, it’ll say “sorry, not this time.”

The giveaway itself will most likely happen once a week starting next Friday, every week for about 10 weeks for now — we’ll see how it goes after that.

The builds for versions 0.15 and 0.45 will also be updated soon, and you’ll be able to join the giveaway in either of them. This will also be available in the Steam demo in the same way.

5. A pack of wallpapers in 4K resolution.

The set is still small for now, but it will likely be updated once a week or so.

Just some beautiful renders to enjoy, or to use as desktop wallpapers if you’d like. Also, one of the renders hints at a new game, but more on that separately. Don’t worry, Angel's love will NOT suffer from this in any way — if anything, it will benefit.

6. Authorization on Patreon

There is now a login button on the main page. Also, in the builds, you’ll be asked to log in at different content checkpoints if you haven’t done it in the main menu. This is needed mainly to separate access rights for the DLSS mode. Fortunately, you only need to log in through Patreon once.

7. Changes in the previous version 0.45

I’ve updated the previous build as well — it now also includes the giveaway, DLSS, the music room, and the 4K wallpaper collection. The English translation has also been revised. Hopefully it’ll be a bit more pleasant to read now.

I’m reading through this changelog and honestly, I’m blown away by how much work has been done over these 2.5 months, almost single-handedly. And that’s only the work you can see. There’s also a ton of work on marketing, the store page, and the game redesign that’s happening behind the scenes. So yeah... there’s a huge amount of work.

Of course, I’d love to add more graphical content, but supporting the game on Patreon and wishlisting it on Steam are also really important for the game’s eventual success.

About the plans:

I don’t know when the next update will be. And I won’t say :)
I’ll try to speed up the process and hire more 3D artists, so please support me with subscriptions here on Patreon — all of this is far from cheap.

We’ll be starting development on a new FREE mini-game.
It will literally be about 1 hour of content to play through.
And this game will be about Nikki :)

It will most likely be called "Femboy Nikki", and it will be a story about his time studying at the University. It will probably be made a bit differently, closer to classic visual novels with sprites, but sex scenes or especially important moments will be done in the standard way, like now.

Why do this? I want to bring additional traffic to Angel's Love on Steam through a free game. It seems like free games get promoted well by Steam’s algorithms, but that’s just my theory — we’ll see how it goes.

I’ll only write the script and dialogues + direct it. All the rest of the work will be done by other people, who aren’t even on the horizon yet. If I don’t find them, the game won’t be released, and that’s that.

A bit about the new tiers:
The descriptions and bonuses for the different tiers have been updated.

IMPORTANT:
New Starter Patrons will no longer receive the latest version of the game, only the previous one.
BUT! Everyone who is already subscribed as a Starter Patron at the time this post goes live will receive version 0.5 at the same time as Dedicated Supporter — in about a week.
