Devlog 13. News and Spoilers.
Hi everyone.
We’re making steady progress toward the next update.
The update is roughly two weeks away. There will be quite a lot of animations, and rendering them alone is going to take a decent amount of time — not to mention the actual process of creating brand-new unique animations.
I don’t remember if I mentioned this before, but I’ve ended my collaboration with the previous 3D artist who was helping me with renders. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to deliver the level of quality I wanted to see in the renders. This mostly had to do with the quality of facial expressions — although maybe I’m just being too picky. Either way, I’ll have to continue searching for a new 3D artist and work alone again for a while. :(
In the new episode, we’ll face the first consequences of the complicated agreements between Angel and Nyx.
Because of Nyx’s easygoing personality, it’s easy to forget that this cutie doesn’t really care about the consequences of her actions — or how they might affect Angel’s life and plans.
But nevertheless, Angel will have to clean up everything Nyx managed to mess up in just one single night…
Besides that, I’ve reached an agreement with a studio that will help develop a new visual style for the game. We’ll start with redesigning the Steam page, and then apply the finished style to the game’s interface.
We’ll see how it turns out. We only started working together this Monday. These are their first sketches for the new capsule. This is a very rough first draft:
What do you think? Is it looking nice? Either way, it’s clearly more professional than what I could do myself. 😂 You can feel the artist’s touch, right?

You ruined the game with that shitty forced Phillip scene hope this game crashes and burns
Angel is looking much curvier in these photos, she is approaching Nyx's size already, I hope she surpasses Nyx greatly, curvier, sexier, and taller? a man can dream
No, she won't be curvier than Nyx, although we might try that once, but basically, no. And what you see in the renders now... I don't want to spoil the fun for you with spoilers, please wait a little longer and you'll see for yourself :)
3D artists aren't a dime a dozen, but there are lots out there. The ones who can manipulate the software to produce quality facial expressions to suit the dialog and poses are the ones to absolutely covet, and THEY are rare! Interpolating the feeling the writer is trying to convey is key so it's imperative the 2 are on the same page so that if the coding or writing slips the art can continue the story without words. You're seeing that and it will only lead to good things! Kudos
