Polishing day 003 report

A polishing day is a day I spend improving an existing part of the game, instead of always just working on the next sprint.  The current polishing task is: add mom and dad jobs to the Lifepath.

Today I added in loads of dad jobs (from stockbroker to nightclub bouncer) and mom jobs (from academic to former Miss Australia).  I'm just focusing on getting them in the game for now, but later they'll be used to create new Upheavals and in-game references.

Some ideas for now include:

• Unique dialogue in Dubai for Aussie military brats (who were born on a base there).

• Unique dialogue for agents taking part in the Women & Their Bodies photoshoot if her mom was a model.

• Unique dialogue for military brats who get into a threesome with two soldiers.

• New first boyfriends based on mom & dad careers.

I'll continue with this on the next polishing day (which is Wednesday).
